Great layout, with lockdown and winter the greens need some work but myself and my partner will be visiting again back end of the summer.

It’s good enough for a world famous rockstar, it’s good enough for most of us

I usually don’t do reviews but thought it would be useful on this occasion.

Played the course circa 3 years ago, I had fond memories, and therefore suggested to the Son in Law we play here as he hadn’t played previously.

The course is ok many holes nicely framed with some challenging holes to be conquered. However, a number of the greens really went up to expected standard, quite a few had diseased areas or has been badly scalped due to the undulations! Also, a number of the cups had been domed I guess the hole cutting plate not used correctly. Tees of the day weren’t the best, too many with limited grass also not particularly flat which is a shame especially as many of the tee boxes are huge so plenty of area to utilise. The course bunkers were ok my recollection from previous visits they were in better nick.

I guess we both left a bit underwhelmed, the price paid for a Saturday afternoon via Golf Now was Ok certainly better value than if booked directly, that really would have made the experience more emotional.

In summary I won’t be rushing back, probably still worth a visit if you haven’t played previously, maybe the greens and tee boxes will be as they could be.

One of the best courses in the area, was a welcome treat to find grass covered fairways not baked bare by hot weather. Good layout providing a thorough test and some really interesting challenge holes. Good greens but they has just been fertilized so not overly quick. Clubhouse facilities are also good. Very friendly staff Highly Recommend this course

Slow play was horrendous. Four ball wouldn't let a 3 ball through and held up everyone else up. There was no staff about for ages when we turned up either.

Staff really friendly and course was in good condition, pace of play was good 3 hours 15mins

All fairways tree lined. Good bunkers. You can attack every hole and it’s a joy to play. Definitely back again. 3 hrs 10 mins great pace. Thanks

Even though the weather wasn't the greatest the course was a pleasure to play and from booking in at the pro shop to coffee at the end in the clubhouse my experience at Swaffham Golf Club was unforgettable. I will be returning very soon

Well maintained course no complsints and even the weather got better

We played one round at Swaffham whilst on holiday. Lovely course in great condition. Fairly fast greens, but fine for a high handicapper such as myself. Nice bar afterwards and great pro shop. I would recommend a round here.

Played several big name golf courses in recent months, but none have out shone Swaffham Golf Club for the complete experience. Extremely friendly staff, great green fee price, practice areas a few steps away, all the greens the same pace, course layout picturesque well sign posted and all in top condition. Highly recommended if you are in Norfolk.

Enjoyable afternoon course in good condition tricky greens as course dry and fast let through by a four ball of ladies would recommend

Fantastic course with great, well taken care of greens. The fairways were a bit rough in places but not bad enough to affect play. Staff was friendly, best buggies I’ve seen in England thus far, organized layout of holes, and perfect balance of challenge and ease. Highly recommend.
