Staff helpful / friendly . Course good condition apart from greens which due to having work done where awful .Would not have booked if known.

This course is a 40 minute drive from home, this was our first visit. Paid £25 each as we got a HotDeal. Arrived and the entrance sign said Visitors Welcome so we were made to feel wanted before getting out of the truck. Man in the pro shop was extremely friendly, gave us a course guide and pointed us in the direction of the putting green, hitting net and first tee. The course flows well, signs on the tee boxes are very detailed. This course has some excellent and challenging holes. The greens weren’t perfect as have recently been hollow tined, the fairways were immaculate, and made for a thoroughly enjoyable round, will definitely be back here soon !

Played many times before but unfortunately the greens had been aerated but not top dressed so 10mm holes covering the whole area meant putting was a lottery.

Course is a really interesting lay out and fairways and rough were in good shape. I know it’s early but with no golf played in 4 months to be off mats on 3 tee’s was disappointing.

The greens though were terrible. Some were more mud and sand than green and it made putting a lottery which was a real shame as everything leading up to the green was great.

Still great to get out and staff were very friendly in greeting us as guests and amazed we got a time first saturday out of lockdown.

Great layout, with lockdown and winter the greens need some work but myself and my partner will be visiting again back end of the summer.

It’s good enough for a world famous rockstar, it’s good enough for most of us

I usually don’t do reviews but thought it would be useful on this occasion.

Played the course circa 3 years ago, I had fond memories, and therefore suggested to the Son in Law we play here as he hadn’t played previously.

The course is ok many holes nicely framed with some challenging holes to be conquered. However, a number of the greens really went up to expected standard, quite a few had diseased areas or has been badly scalped due to the undulations! Also, a number of the cups had been domed I guess the hole cutting plate not used correctly. Tees of the day weren’t the best, too many with limited grass also not particularly flat which is a shame especially as many of the tee boxes are huge so plenty of area to utilise. The course bunkers were ok my recollection from previous visits they were in better nick.

I guess we both left a bit underwhelmed, the price paid for a Saturday afternoon via Golf Now was Ok certainly better value than if booked directly, that really would have made the experience more emotional.

In summary I won’t be rushing back, probably still worth a visit if you haven’t played previously, maybe the greens and tee boxes will be as they could be.

One of the best courses in the area, was a welcome treat to find grass covered fairways not baked bare by hot weather. Good layout providing a thorough test and some really interesting challenge holes. Good greens but they has just been fertilized so not overly quick. Clubhouse facilities are also good. Very friendly staff Highly Recommend this course

Slow play was horrendous. Four ball wouldn't let a 3 ball through and held up everyone else up. There was no staff about for ages when we turned up either.

Staff really friendly and course was in good condition, pace of play was good 3 hours 15mins

All fairways tree lined. Good bunkers. You can attack every hole and it’s a joy to play. Definitely back again. 3 hrs 10 mins great pace. Thanks

Even though the weather wasn't the greatest the course was a pleasure to play and from booking in at the pro shop to coffee at the end in the clubhouse my experience at Swaffham Golf Club was unforgettable. I will be returning very soon

Booked through Golf Now. Course in good nick. Tranquil and pretty. . Staff very helpful and friendly.. Will return.
