Trentham Park Golf Club

We had a business Golf meeting for our new golf travel division in Trentham and looked for the closest course.

Certainly not disappointed.

Very friendly members who gave some course tips and the course is stunningly beautiful with lots of surprises and lots of birds singing.

The greens were fast and in good condition. There's some good groundwork going on and access to the tee's is very good.

Will be back!

Played the course on Saturday & joined up with another single player who was a member of the club for 49 years. Give me some great tips on playing the course which was invaluable with it being my first time on Trentham Park. The fairways were nice and firm for the time of year with the greens having work undertaken in them but still quite impressive for the time of year. Would recommend to anyone & will be coming back soon. Thanks for the round Gerald

Very enjoyable if chilly afternoon. Course was in excellent condition for the time of year!

For early December with bright but cold weather the course was in excellent condition. A very enjoyable few hours in the outdoors.

Weather has been very wet but course played well, all greens in good condition/ weather was good to us and everyone at the club was welcoming.

This course is in pretty bade shape at the moment. A couple of weeks down the line and it’ll be virtually unplayable. The whole course is tatty and the fairways are already muddy and not far off letting balls plug. There is loads of random verti-cutting on multiple fairways, not really clear what the plan is. There were at least 5 greens that have been verti-cut leaving unsightly scaring and deeming them almost unplayable - they’ll never recover until the spring. We paid £35 for a round and nothing was mentioned to us on checking in and we both felt thoroughly ripped off! The only good thing was the pace of play was respectable but I would genuinely steer clear of this course until at least mid-spring or you’ll be bitterly disappointed!

Everything superb. Great course layout, and in superb condition. All staff very friendly including buggy drinks service at 7pm! Will definitely return.

Greeted by friendly and helpful staff in the pro shop the fairways were as good as some places greens and the greens were excellent apart from a couple on back nine that had been slitted

Excellent value for money I would play there again

Course in good condition but built on clay so I suspect it gets soggy during periods of rain and very bouncy in a drought.

Clubhouse has been renovated very nicely indeed and the staff that we met were very welcoming and friendly.

It was decent value for money.
