Trentham Park Golf Club

Really enjoyed my round at TPGC despite playing terrible golf! Really good flow to the course, a few too blind tee shots & approaches for my liking especially when not knowing the course, luckily my playing partner used to be a member. Fairways were a little scruffy due to recent verti-cutting and signs of significant recent drainage work to prepare the course for the winter but once this recovers it’ll be very nice indeed. Greens seem to have been cut right down at some point and as a result some greens were a little bare and also quite a lot of in-repaired pitch marks were visible - real bug bear of mine, just lazy! Lovely layout and some nice scenery, really warm welcome in the pro shop and a lovely pint of local ale afterwards as the sun began to set. I’m looking for a potential new club for next year once my current membership expires and this could be an option.

I personally had a rotten round but can't blame the course which was in nice condition. Plenty of challenging holes and good greens.

Long and a solid walk, challenge also, needs to have easier access to buggies, and although it was amazing to see toilets on the 11th ,it doesn't help if they locked,

Was amazing course, now is starting to need some care, still good thou.

A very entertaining course

A course that requires good finesse and placement "bombers" need not apply! Bring your A game to the tee and not your driver, there are some simply stunning holes, not long, but oh so very VERY tricky. Greens were excellent, very tur running, and given that it was recently captains day, some really evil pin placements on slopes of within a tard of the edge of the green. 4 golfers from South Staffs can highly recommend !!

One of the best courses in the area everybody was so welcoming will definitely be playing there again.

beautiful course.....well maintained. will keep you fit if you are walking as it is very up and down.

Course is in great condition. Been a few years since I played there and couldn’t remember it been that good. Greens are fast and true and fairways immaculate so would highly recommend. The guy with the lovely tan in the club house was really helpful too.

Trentham park has to be one of the best courses around the area. A real challenge from the back tees but gives opportunity to make a decent score if you can keep it on the forgiving fairways. Greens are in excellent condition even though they had recently been spiked. Got a good deal through golf now so it was well worth the money I paid.

Had a great day at Trentham Park, definitely recommend a round here. First time playing here, started off alone as just wanted a practice but was offered by some very friendly members Mick, Joe and Colin to join them on the 5th. Great fun all the way round, some very good holes and course in great shape even though played off some tee mats and greens had just been raked. Played well, walked off 18 with a smile on my face and will definitely be returning soon.

On a warm Sunday I expected this course to have rather slow play. The course was pretty full but the pace of play was a superb! The course was in great condition with nice firm greens, surprising for this time of year, the only minor downside was the use of mats on some holes off the tee, however that’s to be expected in February.

This course has fairly wide generous fairways which was fairly important with the way the balls were running. The main thing that I liked is that you were not always looking for balls. You were penalised with your next shot if you went offline but it was easy to find your ball. A very nice parkland golf course.

First time playing Trentham Park with my usual 3 playing partners. Fantastic and challenging golf course in excellent condition, particularly with all of the dry weather of late. Superb greens and a really nice '19th hole'.

Had excellent day , great course lovely setting every one very friendly and helpful will be back again very soon !!!!
