Trethorne Golf Club & Hotel

Great course with some testing holes. Apart from some sand on a few greens, the course was in good condition. A bargain and we virtually had the course to ourselves.

The course is very good and challenging.Although not that long in yardage terms with the hills and course layout it is pretty tough..

The course was in great condition for the time of year but there were improvement works going on and some of the greens had been "dressed"

Nevertheless it is always a challenge and enjoyable.

There are a few climbs so you might want to think about a buggy.

Great course rather hilly would recommend taking a buggy great value for money and friendly staff

Very much a holiday atmosphere. We enjoyed the course very much and altogether was a very nice day out.

Lovely course, thoroughly enjoyed it, some tricky holes but others let you relax the shoulders a bit off the tee. A few more signposted tees would help with locating a couple of tees for the first time players.

I would definitely play this course again

1st hole is quiet bland but from there on the course is very challenging for your adverage golfer. Up hill and down dale. Get a buggy unless u are a mountain goat on steroids.

Good round, challenging course, good food and drink after

We took advantage of their excellent twilight deal. Apart from the last hole we could have thought we had the place to ourselves. Good course with a variety obstacles to test us. Greens were unsurprisingly hard but were fine to putt on.

They did not know we were playing so poor from your website no email confirmation, they were very friendly but we had to wait to tee off because it had been double booked.mtrethorne good, golf now bad

Fabulous course with great views. Course condition was excellent and each hole was different. Friendly staff and members alike. One criticism.. it was sooooo slow. Apparently Tuesday is when the seniors play so avoid that unless you want to be waiting on every shot with no effort to call those behind through!!

Arrived early on a great value deal. Warm welcome despite frosty conditions. Course in good condition. Quiet on the course and in the bar, probably down to the cold conditions.

Had a great time at trethorne, hilly and very testing for a newbie like me and also a challenge for my more lower handicap friend. Looking forward to going back

This was the 4th time ive played this course in about 15 years and the condition just gets better and better.

I have played lots of golf in Cornwall and this is right up there,probably the best parkland i have played.

Fairways,tee boxes and bunkers all in great nick but special mention must go to the greens,fast and like snooker tables,if you miss on these you only have yourself to blame.No two holes are the same a great course i would recommend to anyone.Only negative it is quite hilly so if not fit a buggy is advised
