Love this course, some great holes

Condition of course excellent. Played in a gale force wind so very challenging

Only downside was as I was on my own followed a 3 ball around first 11 holes waiting several minutes on each tea until eventually on the 11 th they let me through. Maybe it’s because 1 balls get no priority but it’s the sort of thing that gives golf a bad rap.

Overall though I will be back

Poor Pace of play

The course was in good condition considering the prevailing weather. It is an interesting course with many blind shots and a challenging mix of holes. The major issue for us was that we were a 2 ball placed in the middle of a competition! Even worse the comp was a four person Texas scramble . The players competing in the comp were apologetic and informed us it was not worthwhile letting us through as we were in the middle of the pack!

It was disappointing that this tee time was offered and made little sense. The Pro Shop showed little interest in our feedback and the poor pace of play spoiled our enjoyment of the course as we were spending 10 to 15 minutes waiting on each tee.. Clearly we had been given a tee time that should not have been offered. This spoilt the day and seemed of little concern to the club.

Still a great course

I used to be a member at this club. Still a great challenging play and looking good in it's full summer glory. A little disappointed that the bunkers hadn't improved since I last played. They hadn't even been raked for sometime & I understand that rakes have been removed due to the Covid situation but they haven't even been raked by the ground staff. Some of the paths are very difficult to walk on as very loose gravel & bearing in mind this is a hilly course, could cause problems to those that aren't very sure footed. Otherwise a highly recommended country course to play. Enjoy.

This is my home course so I love it could only manage 12 holes on Sunday due to the fact my hayfever was destroying what I could see that day be nice when it's a tad cooler but I have lessons booked in and can't wait for those see you all soon
