Wergs Golf Club

Very impressed by the condition of the course. Immaculate and also got a lovely welcome from a couple of members who I tagged along with. Would definitely go again.

Played here a few times now with a few Friends and with our golf society. On all occasions we have been very pleased with the condition of the course and made very welcome by all staff.

Would have had a 5 star for amenities if they had food available after our round but did notice on leaving the car park that they were advertising for a chef so this will hopefully be rectified soon.

Quite an easy walk, not too hilly, and the greens were in good condition. We were aware of a lot of work going on around the course and the ground staff were very friendly and stopped working to let us play through. Lovely club. Recommended 😁🏌️‍♂️

Course is having lots of work done to it , greens were excellent and they had chopped down a lot of trees tricky course with some tight fairways really enjoyed playing here , only problem was slow play we were a 2ball and was waiting for a 3 ball in front and a 4 ball in front of them, but it was sunny and we were in no hurry to finish the young man in the pro shop was really good and seemed to run around every where ( shop , bar and even fixed the coffee machine, there was a society on and eating so had just a cob which was nice, it’s a course I would definitely play again

A super day at Wergs the course was in excellent condition and the weather helped to make it a great round of golf

Excellent course front 9 is open for attack, but back 9 more challenging defo will return 👍

Nice track with tricky green and plenty of water hazards.

Great welcome from the staff. I had a small breakfast with a coffee which was very nice. Decent value too.

The course was great condition and challenging with the easterly wind. The greens were fast and true and excellently prepared.

Car parking plentiful, friendly staff on arrival with a well stocked club shop, little practice area prior to the 1st tee, course we'll layer out with nice greens and we'll signposted to the next tee,.a friendly club with we'll thought out course, will definitely return.

When we arrived staff were very friendly. Food was very nice . Course was in great condition and the greens were top class running true and quite fast . Overall a fantastic day out . Very friendly people in the club too .

Really enjoyed our round we had a great time course is very testing makes you think about your shots .
