Lots of non-golfers here
Very slow pace of play, so if you aren't in a 4 ball, beware! Played on an extremely windy day, so this was a challenge on most holes but otherwise would be quite easy. Decent length and layout for a 9 hole course. Nothing special
Overbooked and Poor management of tee off times
Played the green course for the first time today. Despite pre booking a tee off time, we had to queue the whole way round. It took over 2 1/2 hours to complete the 9 holes. Clearly over booked. Understand that golf clubs are trying to recoup revenue after the lockdown but this is unacceptable. Tee off boxes not good condition either. Expect better for £17 for 9 holes.
DO NOT PLAY HERE
Wexham park is no longer a viable golf course. The 1st hole is now the old 3rd hole. The next 5 or 6 holes are like a ploughed field with a flag in. Terrible Tees, terrible fairways and I will not call the greens Greens. They are like the worst winter temporary greens you’ve seen.
The next few holes are back onto the original course. But the last 4 or so are again just a ploughed field. Horrible Horrible course that I will not play again until the building work is completed. Which I was told will be 2 years. Also charging full price £25 without informing you of the course condition. I was going to ask for a refund when I finished playing but was too angry to bother. The group in front of us did not play the par 3 6th over the pond, but we did? Not sure who of us played the right holes but we both played 18 holes?????
Do not go to Wexham until they finish the work or improve the layout and condition of the temporary holes. Which is at least 10 of the holes holes.
I would gibe Wexham zero starts but the minimum is 1 star
Great for beginners
Open, a little challenging in parts with forgiving fairways. Fantastic for beginners.
Wexham Park Green Course
cold days and damp but course played really well. enjoyable morning of golf
Best Course in Slough
Excellent facilities and course was freshly cut. This beats Iver by a mile and worth driving down the extra 10mins.
Forgiving, quiet, ideal 9 hole practice
A great, well kept 9 hole course. Open, wide, forgiving fairways with some nice elevated and contoured greens. Ideal for practice or a quick 9 after a busy day. Nothing of great length on the par 4s but a couple of longer 3s up to 183 yds. This course is really what you make of it, ideal for a beginner or a more experienced golfer looking to hone their skills. I went round as a 1er in around an hour and a half at a steady pace. Really enjoyed it, relaxing, nice surroundings and some tricky greens to keep you on your toes.
9 holes green course
Wanted a quick game of golf after the xmas break and just what we needed. In parts soggy but the greens were in vgc considering the weather we just had. Signage could have been better between some holes but enjoyed our short game and good value
Good Course
Very good and beautiful course. I will try again.
Friendly course
First time I play at the Green course, and I have really enjoyed it.
The fariways are wide, so even playing solo I haven't lost a single ball!
Greens are in good condition.
Overall I loved it
This course is both playable and challenging
Great course in any weather. Well kept greens and faiways.
Excellent warm up facilities - putting green and driving range. Great value for money.
