Great Value for money
Played this course for the first time with a few friends after finding a really good rate on tee off times. Course was in really good condition - maybe needs a better practice facility, but overall really happy for what we paid.
A nice day out
Course was good for a society day out.
Good condition. Greens slow and bunkers had stones in (only hit 2!)
Play was very slow as an 80 person society had a 2 tee start. We were warned but had already paid green fee with tee times.co.uk.
Nice Course
Have been playing here on and off for years, lovely course and generally very well kept. It has enough of challenge for the average golfer, maybe not so for a low handicap, but still has a few approaches not for the faint hearted. My only gripe is the pace of play at the weekends they do like to pack them in and maybe a little bit pricey compared to other courses of a similar nature. But on whole well worth a visit.
Happy golfing
Cold but dry
Nice layout plenty of variations I would recommend good par fives and threes .
Good value for money, when its not busy
I find this course good value for money for what you get, however when i played the other day the course was particularly busy and i was playing on my own begind a slow four ball with seemingly no intention of letting through until i was on the green with them. I was looking for a course marshall to complain to but there was none around. Unfortunately after making my booking i had something else come up so i only had 3 hours to complete my round and get back home which for a single player should have been more than enough time but i had to leave after the 14th hole. As i say great course, good value for money but a lack of focus on speed of play and someone policing it.
Good course, good value
Course runs along a valley so you play a lot of sloping fairways. But the lay out is interesting. Impressive clubhouse and practice facilities. Pace of play slow. Nearly 4 hours as a two ball following other two balls.
First time playing woldingham golf course, was very impressed well worth a. visit. Only criticism really was the bukers, but overall very good.
Very positive experience
The course setting is spectacularly beautiful, and the condition of the greens are like bowling greens. Very friendly other players too, both in front and behind - the latter very appreciative of being invited to play through. Cost of buggy hire on the day/time I and son played was extremely modest in comparison with other clubs
Good course
All good except greens were being sanded on the day we were there - bad luck for us - but staff explained in a friendly manner.
Fine undulating course
Well maintained course with good greens. Decent variety of holes built on rolling landscape so pleasing to the eye. Can't recall any water in play and the rough is not too punishing so it's a good course for mid handicappers looking to improve their play and gain confidence. Worth a visit.
We had a perfect day at Woldingham, the course was in great condition, the staff were helpful nothing too much trouble.
Will certainly be back
Steve, Beckenham
Course was in excellent condition. Greens were firm and pure. Really enjoyed it and would definitely come back to play again.
Fantastic course, had just cut for spring and was playing quick, perfect. All for 15.00, can't ask for more.
Lovely course.
Need to manage play as they leave anyone to play and at their pace, not ideal on a weekend
Fairways were muddy (predictable in march)
Greens good
Worth a visit but they need to steward the golfers
Golf at Woldingham
Enjoyed a lovely game at Woldingham with my wife. The course was in a wonderful condition due to the good, autumn weather we have been enjoying. The only problems were two slow members 4 balls in front of us who obviously didn't understand the etiquette of letting us play through. Hence a 3.5 hour round became 4.5 hours!
Nothing more annoying then not being able to play at your own pace. I play in a 4ball regularly and get held up all the time and nobody lets you through anymore I'm not a stickler for etiquette but simple things like this wind me up lol just turns good golf into bad golf waiting 10 minutes on every shot. The worst are when they are putting seriously like pros on the green taking ages when you've seen them take 8 shots to the green. Might be playing here Saturday so fingers crossed we don't have the same problem
