The course was in good condition for October, although the greens were rather slower than ideally they should be and the bunkers were below average.

Quite open, so not much time needed looking for stray shots, the holes are mostly well separated with interesting features.

Overall, well laid out in a nice setting with good facilities, we'd definitely consider returning there.

Decent price. Slow (Teed off 1336hrs) . We adopted flexible approach, fourball in front took 4 hrs 20 min.

The trees are changing colour in Haliloo Valley - so it's a delight. Course conditions still good despite recent rain. New sand now in most of the bunkers. Winter rules in operation. Greens still running well.

Good course with considerate golfers happy to allow faster players through.

Tight sloping fairways and fast greens. Not overly long but a good test with well placed bunkers.

This is a great course, found it via a Hot Tee time. It’s set up in a valley and as such has an amphitheater-like feel about it. Really good par 3s especially.

Awesome location with a fitting clubhouse. Basic driving range (only a few bays - 4/5 - and could do with some TLC) but good enough to hit a few balls prior to teeing off when I got there everyone was hitting off the turf just in front of the AstroTurf bays which was a bit annoying as I had to hit off a bit of a slope - was a bit tight with only 5 of us warming up. Good putting green that was a close match to what was to come on the golf course and there’s a chipping/bunker practice area too. There are some cracking holes on the course, some of the fairways are quite close to others but I thought the layout is very good; nice and open and not a lot of rough to worry about if you’re a bit wayward. A good mixture of short/long holes. I was a 1-ball so caught up with a few groups along my way and I was very impressed by the groups I came across - everyone I came across was very friendly, had a bit of a chat and allowed me to play through unlike most courses where you are generally ignored as a 1-ball. I got one of the special rates on GN, paid just over £20 for the round and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this course to a friend and will definitely be back again soon.

The images are quite misleading for this golf course. The course was in terrible condition, you couldn’t tell the difference between the fairway and the rough and there is a very messy cart path running through most of the course. The greens were also in pretty poor condition with a lot of pitch marks. I have only played here once so it could have been a one off but it was very disappointing.

It was 37 degrees when we played, and as I became ill, we only did the front 9.

It is a stunning course, beautifully kept, great staff and a friendly 19th hole.

I look forward to coming back and playing all 18.

The course overall is very good and value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed the course, the greens were a bit slower than I usually like to play on but still well kept.

The downside is, there is a lot of damage to the greens where people have failed to repair their pitch marks.
