Enjoyable course. 18 holes can be completed in 3.5 hours - 4 hours. Plenty there to make a good round of.

Very nice course , greens tricky, lots of space off fairway. Difficult to lose a ball but can be awkward to shoot really low.

Excellent afternoon - course well maintained and more being spent to improve.

Great place to play a challenging course at a very reasonable price

Was a very nice layer out course with a great layout and value for money. Great 10 minute walk from the train station and was a perfect way to spend my afternoon. One thing to watch out for is the other players as they don’t know how to speed up play but other than that was lovely. Greeted by amazing friendly staff and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience some golf in the countryside. 5 stars from me.

Great conditions, staff and amenities! I would recommend this course to those who struggle off the tee box, our 4 ball found it very easy to keep it in fairway. Very wide open, minimal tree lined tee boxes or fairways. However, the course will

challenge your approach game which makes it a great test.

Great double green feature on #9 and #18 that serves both par 5s in front of the clubhouse.

Nice overall course, fairly easy to play and very forgiving.

The only issue I have with this course was that there were no sign posts with the hole map or distance on any of the back 9? Which made it hard when the flag wasn’t visible at all. Something really basic that needs to be sorted.

Course is in good condition and enjoyed our round despite cold conditions.

The course was in excellent condition, especially given all of the rain recently. The greens were well manicured, true and quick - the best I’ve played on this year.

The course is hilly and lots of the fairways are slanted, giving you tricky lays with the ball often above/below your feet. It’s relatively forgiving off the tee (quite hard to lose a ball, even if you tend to spray your tee shots), but trickier on/around the greens.

Really scenic course ad a day of sunny weather after many months of damp conditions made this a pleasure to play. Only criticism, which was the same as last year, was that the tee grounds had no identification to show what hole you were on. Apparently this is in hand, but thankfully we knew where to go. Would be difficult for a first time player.

The drinks in the bar after were expensive (£10.40 for 1 1/2 pints of Guinness, and no ales at the pump).

A little tough to rate as I played after a week of rain, so course was wet and muddy underneath. Fairways long and shaggy and not great - but tee boxes and greens in good condition. However, the layout itself is a bit bland with quite a few up and down holes and not a lot of memorable holes. Bunkers full of stones and obviously needing attention after the rain/winter.
