Woldingham Golf Club

One of my favourite courses, but today’s round wasn’t great. Big society and lots of slow players, not letting others through. Also greens had been punched and sanded.

Very well prepared course, good layout. Hardly any rough so difficult to lose a ball. The holes are on the short side so if you hit fairways regularly then its possible to shoot a low score. Greens in good condition but on the slow side

Woldingham Golf Club is set in the Surrey hills. The course is in good condition. I wouldn’t say the course is vey difficult but the green were excellent and very tricky, there are no flat putts, and you have to ready every line to achieve a decent score.

Really great track. Variety of holes presenting different challenges. Wind makes it tricky as whichever way you’re facing the wind seems to be against you

My first trip to Woldingham was a good one. The course conditions were very good with good fairways and sand around the bunkers. Great value for money although its quite far for me. One area of improvement could be the greens. The greens were extremely hard and not enough spin available on them. Perhaps a bit more water d be helpful.

Really enjoyed the round, the course layout is great some tough tee shots and some really good picturesque par 3’s. Undulating quick greens are a test for all golfers. Bunkers could do with a bit of work. Bit inconsistent, other than that, a course I highly recommend.

3pm tee off and a bit slow on a bank holiday. Course in good condition but divots on greens need to be corrected or more reminders to golfers to fix pitch marks

As a starting point, the club house is fantastic. Staff and amenities both good.

The rough is penile and fairways are below what I’d expect (cover and length) for the green fees charged.

The greens are a good pace and nice challenge.

Unfortunately the bunkers need a bit of maintenance. They are full amid stones and even a few fist sized rocks which I was unfortunate to encounter on the 18th where one such quarts looking boulder under the surface took a chunk out of my vokey when I cracked it in half.

I like the course it’s great for new golfers not too much trouble but the greens were not great full of unrepaired pitch marks and quit wooly but it’s a pay and play course with high usage. Just wish golfers were taught the importance of looking after the course. Replace divots and repair your patch marks.

Was a bit muddy but overall good course. First few holes weren’t really well maintained as it was difficult to tell fairway from rough.

I have played this course a number of times and have always given it pretty good reviews and rating not this time. I think it should have been closed. The conditions were so bad I actually fell down twice during my round because it was too wet and slippery as the course has many slopes!

Carry only and buggies on path due to the wet nature. The greens were in good condition but like most of the UK course was quite wet. Great burgers in the restaurant afterwards. I play here often and the layout is very enjoyable - quite open so hard to lose balls but still challenging enough. Give it a try!

A enjoyable round. Well worth the money. Challenging. Downside was a lot of the holes have sloping fairways so it was hard to keep your ball in the middle. Would still play it again
