Booked online and when we got to the course was told no personal buggy’s! I asked for a refund and the answer was no! They didn’t seem to care and left without hearing a sorry or anything!

ENJOYABLE TO PLAY

What enjoyment we had as a three ball and we really found this a good course to play.

There were a few temporary tee's , but this was due to ground unde4 repair.

The weather conditions weren't the best, however this didn't dampen our spirits and we'd defo recommend giving this course a try

The greens where very good , but a number of bunkera had water in them.

Nearly but not there yet

I have played the course for many years. When it first opened it was superb. The biggest let down over the years has been the poor quality of the greens. . Sort the greens Woolston Manor would then be a course to recommend.

Standards have slipped

Haven’t played this course for a year and it has been let down by poor course management. Bunkers are some of the worst I’ve played and as for the greens they are shocking. This course is laid out lovely and has real potential it just needs to be looked after. Very disappointed and will not be going back anytime soon

Horrendous course

What a bad course. Can’t tell what is a fairway and what is the rough. The greens are basically rough. Impossible to put on as they just bounce and bobble the whole way. There is thick grass covering some of the holes. Staff unfriendly. There are so many courses in the local area, all which are better so I would try some of those.

Awful Greens spoil a decent trek

The layout of the course is decent. Some nice holes but greens were worst I've played in many years. Bumpy and bear , unloved and uncared for. With time and money this course could be pretty decent. The staff are great and friendly. The pace of play was very very slow for the first nine holes until we got let through. Not sure I'd play again unless a lot of work was done on those greens. Its a shame.

Nice day could have been better

Only thing letting the course down are the greens and a couple of bunkers. The greens need rolling and cutting. Could not get a good roll on my puts because the greens are really bumpy.

Walked off after 13 holes!

Was really disappointed in this course, bearing in mind it’s location and potential clientele. The pace of play was awful, spent a lot of time waiting on every shot. The greens were shocking, didn’t look like they had been tendered to in weeks. Actually walked off the course after 13 holes as couldn’t bear the frustration anymore!

Great course

Was a member in its first year in 1994.

Haven’t played there for around 6 years.

Pro shop was very friendly and the course was in good condition.

Very pacy round ,no waiting on any tees.

Overall I would recommend Woolston highly.
