Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club

Overall the course was in great condition & the greens were really good, but slow. A lot of work going re paths for buggies but the course is playing well. Would definitely recommend, even better if you can get on a hot deal like we did !

The only thing stopping this course from being a 10 out of 10 is the greens are a bit bobbley and need a good cut

Played here end of April, lovely day with pals. Greens not great and need more care from the greens keepers. There are far to many fairway bunkers in poor condition. One par 5 must have a dozen bunkers which are huge. Pot luck if you miss one from the tee box. Some interesting holes and a stiff test having not played for 9 months due to Covid. Still a good day out but fairway bunkers ruin a fairly decent course

Great course for the money until a single lady member decided to play behind us on 13 which was very distracting as she was hitting her ball up to us at times. We walked in at 16.

Woolston is great value and a fair test. The fairways and greens are good but not great. We dropped out of the bunkers as they seemed to have forgotten to add sand LOL. Tony and the team are always great, thanks chaps.

Pretty forgiving course with generous fairways, moderate difficulty. First day after lockdown meant that course was crazy busy, two very slow four balls together meant everyone was backed up behind. Course in reasonable condition, a little muddy in places and greens were a little bumpy.

Sorry no photos to backup, I don't take phone on the course. First off the pro was very unfriendly (Golfnow) more trouble than it's worth. The greens were excellent condition. The bunkers were like swimming pools The fairways were very very heavy going balls plugging on near enough every shot.

This is/was a lovely course when it's dry and sunny......it can not cope with the WET stuff. Shame

Booked online and when I got to the course they wouldn’t let me use my own electric trolley!

Offered a push trolley or carry the bag!

At 65 and a weakened back I don’t think so

Having played woolston since it opened it was sad to see the state off the course

It should have been closed so much mud. We use to view woolston as our go to course but no more. The new lockdown will help hopefully.

Booked online and when we got to the course was told no personal buggy’s! I asked for a refund and the answer was no! They didn’t seem to care and left without hearing a sorry or anything!

What enjoyment we had as a three ball and we really found this a good course to play.

There were a few temporary tee's , but this was due to ground unde4 repair.

The weather conditions weren't the best, however this didn't dampen our spirits and we'd defo recommend giving this course a try

The greens where very good , but a number of bunkera had water in them.

Picturesque course, very challenging especially back 9. Needs a bit of TLC. Great clubhouse.

I have played the course for many years. When it first opened it was superb. The biggest let down over the years has been the poor quality of the greens. . Sort the greens Woolston Manor would then be a course to recommend.
