Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club

Pace of play was ridiculously slow. 4ball after 4ball. Gapping between the tee times is nowhere near long enough. 5.5 hours to go round!!!

Need a starter and Marshall's to keep things moving. Lengthen tee times too.

I spoke to members there who said it's only getting worse over time.

Course condition was good.

Layout good too.

Still quite muddy but playable. Very very long in the winter. Greens okay. Bunkers difficult. Too many Canada geese spoiling the course.! Bar not open.

Reasonable conditions for this time of the year. Muddy in places for sure but manageable. Pace of play on a Friday mid-day was great. Two practice nets and a putting green ahead of tee 1. Didn't see a driving range.

Had a great round with 2 friends in mid January, the course was in great condition given the weather at this time of year and the layout and hole variety was superb.

Slow round due to a number of 3 & 4 balls on the course but nothing too surprising for a Sunday morning.

Will definitely be coming back to play again and can’t wait to see it during the summer

Interesting course, a lot of guarded greens either with bunkers or water. A couple drive-able par 4’s that asked you to take risks…

Just very slow pace, in traffic from first tee as if we were behind a comp. Other than that very enjoyable and good value

Never played here before, so spoke to receptionist and explained our situation, unfortunately he was not at all interested, I even had to ask for a scorecard as clearly he wasn’t bothered. Had to speak with fellow golfers to find toilets and 1st tee! The course for time of year was very good, obviously with a little bit of customer service, this would be a lovely place.

Conditions were awful today, no pro shop open, waterlogged greens and bunkers, fairways in poor condition

Excellent course condition for time of year. Tees a bit ropey, but greens, fairways excellent.. Good value for money.

Slowest round for years. Was stuck behind a society, they were so slow every hole, we were still waiting on the 18th tee. The greens very slow, I’ve seen shorter grass on fairways. Guy in pro shop needs to put a smile in his pocket so he can use when needed. We teed off 3.10 in a 3 ball, as we putted the last green it was dark. 8pm

Long course but fairly flat. Every hole interesting especially back 9. Water on at least 10 holes! challenging!

We’ve have Been meaning to play here for a while.

Nice layout and some decent holes.

But it’s in really poor condition and not been looked after. Fairways not cut, greens patchy and inconsistent. And probably the worst bunkers I’ve played.

Bunkers are a feature of this course as there are so many in tough positions. But they are virtually just gravel.

Shame, but would not play again.

Lovely looking course. Pity the bunkers are in such a bad way and poor drainage. As for the course and greens- fantastic.

Course was in excellent condition! A pleasure to play. In addition all the staff were friendly and always available to assist!

Can’t wait to play Woolston Manor again.

First time playing, very impressed with the course and will definitely return.
