Wrekin Golf Club

The views make a trip here worth every penny but the course remains immaculately well-kept and provides a real test over every shot. The most unique course in Shropshire and the West Midlands. Lovely staff and members. Very friendly towards visitors.

Visiting the area and both me and my wife really enjoyed our visit from checking in, the fabulous challenging course, friendly members and great food.

Highly recommend you visit if in the area.

Lovely, well maintained course. Not too hard for us mid handicappers. Stunning views on the many elevated tees and greens.

Me and my golf buddy came for round ,played the course a few times over the years and it is still a fantastic course with very testing holes ,greens was fast and testing ,views are stunning while you stroll round ,course layout is very good , could do with a sign for the tenth hole ,staff are very friendly and got a good club shop for all your needs ,overall 5stars from us and will be back again ,go and play it test all your golf skills here

We played as a four ball and the pace of play was ideal. Really nice course. First time I have ever seen deer on a course. Will definitely be playing again

Loved the course, great condition with super fast greens. Quite hilly in places with some fantastic views Could do with more signage guiding to next tee..Looking forward to going back again.

Hit a lot of drivers and found the greens very challenging but layout is great in spite of the last three holes being all uphill. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Course was in great condition from tee to green. Could do with more direction markers to the next tee etc. Extremely hilly, several cardiac hills!! Nice bar and balcony overlooking the 18th green for after round drinks

What a great course, immaculate greens, wonderful scenery and really friendly members. Short course but some really challenging layouts. Only marked down as slow play because of a inter club comp before us. Staff in clubhouse were superb and the curry and chips and pint in the 19th were spot on!

Front 9 was closed due to recent weather conditions but considering that the back 9 was well looked after. Pace of play was quick and staff were super friendly.

Great course well looked after played on a cold day need a few layers on greens were perfect always love to play this course

1st time playing based on recommendations, friendly reception and information given that one green was on temp for drainage work. Was told to pop back into reception after playing for a voucher.

You can see investment taking place with new pathways, could really do with more signage after each hole to the next tee as its so easy to get lost and wander around.

Some challenging holes with still having to hit 3 wood on 2nd shots on some par 4's, greens are great but evil, they are so fast ( 3 putting after being 8ft from pin on par 3 ) very undualting and steep in places even on the paths giving also lots of different lies on the fairway, A couple of really nice elevated tee's and some greens have elevated sides so you need to be hitting the target. Value for money for the deal i had with Golfnow.

Lovely course

Interesting holes - lots of variety. Always up/down, left/right.

Greens excellent - 1 temporary as a lot of drainage work was happening on the hole.

Only negative - no bar or catering until 12. Not great if you are out early and zip round in 3 hours!
