Played a few times now good course and a great back drop of the wrekin
Hit 83 so 17 over just some bad reads on my part.
The greenkeepers are doing a good job on the course.
As we were getting ready to tee off a wild deer and her baby run out of the tree line on the left great to see big thumbs up
Great standards
Beautiful course
Rapid greens with some tough pin positions but made for a good game. Would play again booking through the app but £50pp is a bit steep.
Wonderful gem of a course
Don't be fooled by the distance of this course because it does not tell the full story. This is a very hilly course, which significantly adds to the distance on some holes and shortens others making club selection tricky. The greens had just been heavily treated (sanded) but were still in excellent condition. Staff and club members were all extremely welcoming. A lot of members had rolled up this morning, so pace was a little slow to start with, but gave us a great opportunity to enjoy the views.
I cannot wait to play this course again.
Challenging course with great views
Played Wrekin with my brother on a very hot August Sunday which made the hilly terrain tough but every hole was a different and interesting challenge.
We were lucky to see wild deer roaming and the course was immaculate. The greens are positioned to demand an accurate approach shot and measured putts with plenty of slopes, banks and bunkers.
The club staff were very welcoming and friendly and facilities very good with a clubhouse bar and halfway hut for refreshments.
In all, would love to play this course again and try to do better.
Lovely course, friendly atmosphere
Don’t be put off by the lack of par 5s - this is a good course that most golfers will enjoy. It is hilly and so a good walk but that is also its charm. There are a few holes where you just want to blast it straight up or down hill but many more where you need to plot your way round.
Course was in great condition
Special mention to staff and members. We were welcomed and spoken to by everyone we met in the clubhouse or out on the course. All very friendly. Staff also gave us a few tips on where to hit it on 3 of the holes.
Lovely course, excellent condition
Really nice friendly course. Well kept, not too long, interesting holes and great scenery. Some hilly holes not nothing too demanding and a couple of great elevated tees. Friendly clubhouse with decent food and drink. Superb value for money.
A fantactic day the is in great condition and for a first time visit very challenging greens very fast and took some getting used to.
Thank you Wrekin for a great days golf.
I will be back
Excellent condition
Considering course was closed the day before due to snow and ice, it was in excellent condition
However, did notice that tractor being used to spray greens was leaving heavy tractor tracks

Highly enjoyable even in the rain
Second time playing here. Unfortunately the rain spoilt things a little especially towards the end of the round when the greens became waterlogged.
Quite hilly with a few left to right slopes as the course winds it’s way around the hills.i look forward to coming back.

Nice Course
The Wrekin was a good challenge for all of us.
The greens were excellent , undulating and small making the course much more difficult than the card suggests.
Overall there is a good mixture of holes with some quality par 3's and interesting par 4's
Exceedingly friendly Club.
The greens were exceptionally good on the day I played the course, I found the staff and members very friendly. The course is energy sapping, so do not expect and easy or fast round, because of its hilly profile.
The course is very well kept, as is the club house. The food on offer is also very good. Enjoy !

Course in excellent condition. We were on holiday in the area and enjoyed it so much we returned for a 2nd round.
Some very interesting and challenging holes. Very enjoyable.
