JEFFREY Worden
THE COURSE WAS IN VERY POOR CONDITION EVERYWHERE - GREENS, TEES AND FAIRWAYS. THE SAND TRAPS WERE O.K.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COURSE TO ANYONE WHO HAS TO PAY $40.0O U..S. TO PLAY.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice carts and putting green. Challenging layout with views of the Bay.We will be playing there quite often this snowbird season.
Difficult course
It was a hard course to maneuver. Spent some time finding hole #1. There was a lot of tree roots in the rough area which if you weren’t looking you would be falling or tripping, needs to be cleaned up or have them covered more. Dangerous when you’re in these areas swinging you want to make sure that there’s no tree roots around oh you’ll be breaking clubs. For me I wouldn’t go back.
Needs Some Love
This course was probably lovely once, but it is in pretty rough shape. For sure we played in the winter and perhaps simmer would show improvement, but from tee box to fairway to green it just needs love and investment. The shining light was the staff - pro shop and starter were simply very nice people and very accommodating when I had my tee time mixed up (although the course was pretty empty). Bring your sense of adventure (and humor) and have some fun for an inexpensive round with a couple of pretty views and lots of practice on less-than-ideal surfaces...
Needs Love
As a positive, the people working in the pro-shop were incredibly friendly but unfortunately the course is really in rough shape. Granted, it was winter when we played but tee boxes and greens were sandy, fairways were primarily dirt, greens were, well, not particularly green. Some holes that could be stunners, but it is clear this course needs some love and investment.
Still quite rough but a good layout
Glad they had directional signs to get around the course! This will be a great track when the grasses start to green and rough areas fixed.
Post-Post Apocalypse
After reading a previous review it was clear we were walking into a post apocalyptic war zone. As we prepared for battle our expectations were lower than the fiery pits of the underworld. Upon arrival we were greeted by a Dave Jacob’s lookalike (impractical jokers season 8 ) he was funny and offered us moonshine. Which we declined. The course layout is actually really good they just need to work on growing some grass and keeping it mowed down. Not a bad spot to snag a hot deal on golf now if you want to lube up the swing before playing somewhere more expensive and maintained. No water on course to drink when the heat index was over 110 so bring your wa wa.
