Needs Love
As a positive, the people working in the pro-shop were incredibly friendly but unfortunately the course is really in rough shape. Granted, it was winter when we played but tee boxes and greens were sandy, fairways were primarily dirt, greens were, well, not particularly green. Some holes that could be stunners, but it is clear this course needs some love and investment.
Still quite rough but a good layout
Glad they had directional signs to get around the course! This will be a great track when the grasses start to green and rough areas fixed.
Terrible Course with Snobby Members
A friend and I played this course occasionally due to it have wide open tee times because of the condition, so we knew what we were getting in to. I haven’t been back and won’t be back since I played this course back in Oct 2022. We showed up for our 8:00 am tee time booked through Golf Now, the gentleman in the Club House was surprised we were able to book because of a 8:30 member shotgun start for a tournament. He told us no biggie, go ahead and go and we should be in front of the members. In the cart it had Bay listed at the top followed by Marsh, so we went ahead and drove to Bay 1 and by the 3rd hole members were coming through and started to call the club house because we were in the middle of their tournament. We said no problem, we will drive to Marsh 1 and get out of your way. By the time we got to Marsh 3 we were behind a group of 5; no problem we are not in a rush. Well they called the club house and sent some girls holding the tournament to us in order to escort us to Marsh 6 to get ahead of the members. I told them no thanks, I’m done being moved around by your members. I was fully refunded but refuse to give a $1 to this crap course again.
This course is no longer a great course like it used to be!! Falling!!!
This course was very Sandy on the Tee’s, fairways pine cones, and lots and lots of needles!!!
It was if we were playing on a Sandy beach!!
We used to love this course, however I am sorry to say we will not return!!!!!
Bad conditions. Like hitting out of sand on whole course. Greens in poor condition. Tees in terrible condition
Marsh 9 HOLE surprise!
Playing on a cold and windy December day forces one to speed up play (length of round was 3.5 hrs) and not pay attention to the finer and little details of the course. Regardless, given the time of year and conditions, the course was in sub-optimal shape. But the Marsh 9 was a pleasant layout..
Overall, the course is tired and not in shape. Again, perhaps a function of the time of year, but one wonders with a healthy maintenance budget it could be brought 'up to par'.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disappointed in overall shape
We hadn't played this course for several years and did not know the course was in the midst of a change of ownership with residents buying the course and putting their best foot forward to repair and get the course back into shape with a new management company. The "Bay" side 9 holes was in rough shape, greens, fairways and tee boxes are in need of work. The "Marshes" side 9 holes was in better shape and more enjoyable to play. Overall the course could be challenging in itself with layout but certainly needs a lot of work. We wish them well in their efforts.
Good value
The course was not in the best of shape and restaurant was closed. The price was right compared to other courses in the area.
Decent Course
Course is in rough shape, but has great potential. Should be much cheaper until conditions are addressed. Greens are awful
A value course
Condition not good, greens patchy, fairways rough. Golf shop Josie was a hoot. Our group enjoyed her attitude.
Wonderful Afternoon
Loved being out at there. The views were unbelievable and the course played pretty pure. The staff was so kind, informative, and accommodating to my wife and I. 100% worth the money
