The First Tee of North Florida - Brentwood Golf Course

My son and I had a very good time. I played terrible, but hadn’t played in months so I expected it. Course in great shape especially with all the rain we’ve been having. Nice course, will be back.

Fun nine hole course near downtown. I certainly recommend this course to any golfer who would like to practice, bring a beginner learning to play. They keep the fairways and greens in good shape. The tee boxes are beat up but the remainder of the course is good.

It never feels crowded. I never feel rushed. And the familiar friendly faces of the staff and fellow golfers gives off that sense of family that makes EVERYTHING that much sweeter.

Ordered a tee time for Brentwood.....used the Hot Deal so it was prepaid.......out tee time was 915 but told once we get there that they are out of cards and that it would be about half an hour before some were available which at first wasn't too bad so we decided to wait. But that half hour changed to over an hour and a half so we decided to leave. Left a bad taste in our mouth so we probably won't be back. Not expecting a refund.

Course layout is confusing. Also it is advertised as 18 holes but there are only 9

You get what you pay for when you come here. I’m sure it was nice at one point but that day is long passed. Almost every tee was being worked one and fairway conditionS need to be improved. Staff was friendly.

I have played this course many times and usually enjoy it as it's a nice practice course. However today was not one of those days. I got to the course and pro shop and was being checked in when another guy came behind me and then was checked in before me even though I was first. He was obviously a regular as he knew the guy in the pro shop so I guess he was important enough to skip me in line. Then on the course it was a complete free for all as people were skipping holes, not yelling fore, and I was almost hit by someone who didn't fully wait for me to clear the green. Thankfully my cart protected me from getting hit.. Most golfers that play this course do not have proper etiquette and it takes away from the course. I paid for 18 but quit after 9 because it was so bad. Course in good shape so that is the only reason for two stars instead of one but I will not be back anytime soon.

Hardly any signs for the holes 1st time playing the course and there is no signs anywhere telling you where to go or even Signs for holes to know yardage had to read the score card. But other then that wasn’t to bad

Local course I frequent for a round of golf or just practice. This is a 9-hole course you just go around twice to get in your very well priced 18 holes. The course is nicely laid out and as a beginner has its open space so when one does not exactly go straight, i can still find the ball. Today was the best round of golf I have played to date (only been playing about 2 years) and will return soon.

Our home course, we love playing here. It's the most fun, the staff is friendly, and its a beautiful 9 hole location.

The greens are looking fabulous... another 2 weeks and they should be perfect. Fun & very affordable course.

Unless you are a local who enjoys this course....keep looking!! My buddies and I take an annual golf get away and selected this course on one of our days. While the staff was friendly the course and area are terrible. Again, if you are local to the area and enjoy this course then tee off. If you are visiting---Do not play this course on your vacation or time away. Pay a few extra dollars to save yourself the disappointment my friends and I suffered. Not good.

Tee boxes and fairways need a little work. Greens are pretty good and no real pressure to rush.
