Decent greens
Tee boxes and fairways need a little work. Greens are pretty good and no real pressure to rush.

Great condition for a municipal course
This 9 hole course was fun to play. The cart we hard was a bit jerky, but other than that we had an enjoyable round. Played the green tees for the first nine and the longer blues for the second. Greens were a bit slow, but well groomed. Fun times!

Great layout
This is a nice 9 hole course in north Jacksonville. It has 3 par 3's, 5 par 4's,and 1 par 5. There are several tees to play from depending on your ability and challenge desired. Some of the par 4's are rather short so long ball hitters have to wait for the green to clear, which slows the pace down, rather than hit a shorter club (we got stuck behind one who thought he could hit it farther than reality). Overall the course was in good shape. Some of the sand traps were not raked (not the course's fault) as my ball landed in a deep shoe print. I also fixed numerous ball marks on the greens (I do this on every course we play), again not the courses fault. If you want an inexpensive round nearby in Jacksonville, this is it. The gentleman behind us said it was the first time he had to wait to tee off as a walk-on, and he golfs there often!

Basic Muni
You get what you pay for. Course is a good layout but don't expect perfect conditions. If you want a quick 9 for a good price, this is the course for you. Most tee boxes need a lot of work. Greens were fair but rolled OK. I will go again especially when I want a quick 9 at the spur of the moment.

Etiquette lessons
While the course is great place to play 9 and practice. While I was there. The first tee kids showed up by two buss loads. Completely took over the practice area and pushed me out the way as if I wasn’t there. Taking all the chipping balls off the greens as I hit them. So I go over to putting greens. They then come over there putting on top of me. So I tell coach teach them some etiquette as well as how to play. Little brats. Know what’s happening up there before you go

Golfing respect
Whenever and wherever myself and either family or friends I am disappointed in the others that have played before us and have no respect for the staff nor course conditions. On every cart there is sand for fairway divots, in every pro shop there is ball mark repair tools. People fail to spend a fraction of a second to bend over and repair the damages and yet complain about course conditions. THIS SICKNESS has to be corrected. Enough said.

Good practice course
This is a good practice golf course. Some of the greens are not in great shape but they should come back with some TLC. The staff is great, a good place to practice for the next round you may have coming at a more difficult golf course. Good place for 9 holes and walkable. I will be back.
