The First Tee of North Florida - Brentwood Golf Course

Staff very friendly and accommodating . For first time confusing. First tee posted after that definitely had to follow cart paths. If missed hole lost.

Constantly running low of carts

For this time of year, greens were rolling true. Fairways were still dormant however not bad to hit the spectrum of clubs. The only thing that needs more attention is repairing the sandy tees (possibly replace/repair/etc.). Overall especially the greens , the course is playing fine.

This was my first golf outing since moving to Jacksonville. The course was well maintained and had a good layout. I was there early and had plenty of parking. However, I saw that parking was very limited once I left. I will definitely be back and maybe purchase one of the tiered membership.

For one they don't have enough carts I made reservations the night before and there was some other guys that had made reservations two days prior to that and we all had to wait for carts because they were just giving them to people that were walking in instead of people who had reservations so now we got to stand around and wait for carts that we paid for 2 days ahead of time That's not fair to people who has reservations there they don't have enough cards then they don't need to be overbooking The courses already small enough as it is I have been there several times and it always gets backed up somebody needs to talk to the staff over there about overbooking and get the city to provide them some better carts as well

I’ve played here many times and of course you never expect too much. But today was exceptionally bad. I would not come here for awhile unless you want to tee off from dirt. The fairways were about the same but tee boxes were absolute trash and every green was riddled with ball divots. Range was actually nice on the other hand. It seems as if the few staff they do have, have given up on trying to maintain the course.

I absolutely love playing this course. The staff is incredible friendly and helpful. This is my favorite place to play.

I love this course. I would only suggest not allowing groups more than 4 at a time and they really need a beverage cart/Budweiser available considering how busy this place is.

Haven’t been back since January 2024 but I’ll have to say they have made progress with several improvements. The cost to play 18 holes needs to come down since this is a 9 hole course without a Starter? After finishing first nine you sometimes wait for 3 slow groups to go off first tee before you can start your tenth hole and finish the round. Reduce your prices to accommodate a 9 hole course!

Course is finally drying out from all of the rain. Short beginner friendly course.

It's a great 9 holes course but it gets way overbooked

Poor conditions and was slightly over priced. Lots of kids.
