The First Tee of North Florida - Brentwood Golf Course

This is the absolute worst course ever! Not a single fairway had all grass, tree roots all over the course, not one paved cart path and our cart ran out of gas on the 3rd hole. False advertising of 18 holes and misleading pictures. Feel like we completely wasted our money. Do not come here if you like your golf clubs, they will get destroyed.

If it’s a weekend, I recommend showing up and hour before you’d like to tee off, otherwise you will wait a long time for carts.

Got there for my 9:50 tee time and was told I had to wait for five groups in front of me for a cart, I ended up walking, but course needs better scheduling and operations management.

Great for beginners and the price. Short course, with an interesting layout. Same greenskeeper as blue cypress, and conditions are looking better by the week

Only been playing since retiring 3 years now, live in Yulee, but my son suggested this course, said it was a fun course and good for someone that hasn’t been playing long. He was right, I loved it! Greens are in Excellent condition, fairways aren’t bad either, I think I’ll definitely be back

So i bought a tee time for 18 holes and i went to play 10 and they took the flags and said no refunds or rain checks were allowed to be given and i just wasted the money. lady was very rude

I am by no means a great golfer , but this is my favorite course in the area, especially for the price. I Drive from Jacksonville beach to Brentwood to golf often. Lots of hills and elevation change all throughout the course. Not long by any measure, but if you bomb drive 280 yards, maybe pull it out of your bag and challenge yourself with 3W off the tee. Course is looking better and better.

Hard to beat the price. Lots of trees on the course and low par course. Not many Par 5’s. Still a fun course.

Hoping the dormant and grassless fairways grow in next couple months? Appreciate course replacing some tees and keeping greens very decent however hate to get punished for great tee shots in center of fairways??

Tee boxes and fairways are rough in areas but greens are in good condition. Great course for the price to enjoy the day. Also a good course to walk since it’s shorter

Great course for the cost as always. Great for beginners, if you hit 250+ yard drives, this will be a “snooze” of a course for you. Lot of standing water due to the rain a couple days ago, and pace of play can be range from amazing to painfully slow at times.

Perfect for beginners/hacks, fairly short. Course isn’t in the best condition, but it’s good enough for $23. It’s like little Cesar’s pizza, compared to a local place it’s trash, but for $5 it gets the job done.

Only complaint is the course can be somewhat crowded at times, especially if you play 18 (9 holes twice) there can be a line of people already waiting to tee off on 1

There's not a flat spot on the course so it seems which makes it fun and challenging narrow fairways elevated tee box's to elevated greens overall it'd a fun course

Greens were ok . Fairways were thin and a lot of dirt areas around greens. Course needs work

The course is generally in ok shape and it is not too expensive. The problem with this course is they overbook compared to the number of carts they have. They also don’t have any organization. They will send out golfers in the wrong order even when on a delay due to the cart shortages.
