About
Sewailo Golf Club is part of the Casino Del Sol Resort in Tucson, a luxurious resort run by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. The course's name, Sewailo, means "flower world" in the Yaqui language. When the idea of creating the golf course was first formed, the tribe enlisted the help of fellow Native American and PGA Tour player Notah Begay III as well as renowned course architect Ty Butler. The team fully utilized the rugged landscape, crafting a championship layout with a range of shot values and a variety of hazards. The bunkering is minimal but strategic, added to complement the natural features rather than overpower them. There are also lakes and meandering streams that come into play. Sewailo Golf Club has five sets of tees with the longest stretching to 7,400 yards.

Windy day
Played 2 courses in Scottsdale that were just OK but this was in much better shape. I would play again.
Decent Desert Gold
The course had a nice layout with some short par 4 ad some long. What I didn't like was there we no rough it went from tight lie fairways to tight lie rough.that was brown.
Windy
Conditions and layout ok. Open/windy.. Slow pace of play on back. Watch for a deal on Golfnow for around $50ish.
Nice course
It was a nice course with a typical college course clubhouse. We got done at dark and clubhouse was locked up.
Fine Course
Excellent condition and layout. Pace of play was very good, right at four hours.
Saw the drink cart several times.
Not much sand in the bunkers
Great course but pace of play a problem
This was the second time this month that we played at Sewailo. While this is a great golf course, the pace of play has been awful. Two weeks ago 5 hours 15 minutes, yesterday 5 hours and 5 minutes. No ranger during the entire round. While we realize pace of play is a problem at most courses, the staff at least needs to be present to try to make things better for everyone, not just take your money and disappear.
Slow Play
Group in front of us was very slow and no ranger to move them along. Great course.

Various greens have dead/rough patches
Inconsistent amounts of sand in the traps
1 bar cart, have only seen once during each of 2 rounds played
Grill is pretty basic, but good breakfast burritos!
Will play here again (with discounts)
Great course unusually slow
We love Sewailo and typically think it is one of the best courses in the Tucson area. Unfortunately, there must have been a selfish foursome somewhere in front of us causing the round to be painfully slow (5 hour and 15 minutes). Great layout and good conditions, but rangers need to be more proactive in getting slower groups to move along.
Slow play
The first time I have had an issue with slow play. Almost didn’t finish. Course was also not in as good of condition as in past. Still I like the course
