Riverwood Golf Club - Riverview/Meadowlands Course

Overall it is too challenging to me and I don't understand the logic behind the water and grassland. What was the most irritating if you play 9 holes they tell you which 9 to play instead of the paying customer who wants a choice but has no voice in the matter so they put you on the meadowlands because no one wants to play this. Ridiculous that they put a group of 6 behind us playing best ball so they were on our necks the entire round. Very unenjoyable round of golf.

Greens and fairway in top conditions, Quality price is very good. Recommend strongly for intermediate and advanced golfers.

The greens are not in good condition for it to be almost June still have green paint in and bad areas all over. I stopped playing after 9 holes

Since last time I played here, the state of the greens has improved. There are far less quack grass clumps than a few weeks back, which makes me believe that they know the issue and are working to remedy it.

The course is on the dry side right now with the current heat. This is both a blessing and a curse as your drives roll further, but makes sticking shots on the greens much tougher. Overall, great value for the course, a bit slow paced, but not horrible. Will book here again for sure.

Love this course and have played it several times, however this time the greens were in very poor shape. there was quack grass growing in clumps all over them and although they were cut all the same length, the quack grass caused putts to go all over the place. Quite disappointing. Might not come back until they have this fixed.

Will definitely make the drive to play here again. Great staff and easy to navigate. Solid course.

It was a fun course, friendly staff, wish there was a cart girl on a Friday, but their bar and grille is good value.

This is the second time I've played this course. The course has three nine-hole sections which they apparently rotate around this time of year. The course was in good condition with the only negative being a relatively slow pace of play (4-1/2 hours to play 18). Since this was on a chilly Monday morning, I thought there would be fewer folks out on the course, but we got backlogged after the second hole. That being said, I will still come back. Note that the white tees are really challenging if you don't hit your drives 250+. There were several par 4's where I hit good drives and still couldn't reach with a 3 wood.

I really enjoyed this course. Seemed to play longer than the posted yardage with several interesting holes. The course was in very nice shape other than some pretty worn tee boxes. Will definitely be back!
