Riverwood Golf Club - Meadowlands/Deer Run Course

I was visiting my son in Wendell Falls and found Riverwood on line…glad I did! Was paired with a Member and had a great time. Course was challenging (but not crazy challenging!) and even after recent rain it was not soggy at all. Greens were quick but rolled true. Will definitely come back to play again!!!

Greens were very sandy and bumpy. Still charging full price. Thats ridiculous

I played with some buddies there. The tee boxes were in great shape, and the course overall was as well. It had some holes that made you think, and it added to the fun.

Overall, the course conditions were better than good. They weren’t great, but were better than good. More than a few greens had burn spots, and other issues, but all seem to roll pretty true. Fairways were in good condition, tee boxes as well. But, the bunkers were unplayable… For this to be a Sunday morning, of a holiday weekend, in the prime season for golf, the bunkers were unacceptable. They were washed out, and had zero sand in them. It was like hitting off of a concrete driveway. I would gladly play this course again, but they need to put more emphasis on the bunkers

Overall it is too challenging to me and I don't understand the logic behind the water and grassland. What was the most irritating if you play 9 holes they tell you which 9 to play instead of the paying customer who wants a choice but has no voice in the matter so they put you on the meadowlands because no one wants to play this. Ridiculous that they put a group of 6 behind us playing best ball so they were on our necks the entire round. Very unenjoyable round of golf.
