About
Wickenburg Ranch Golf & Social Club is in the heart of some of Arizona's most dramatic Sonoran Desert terrain, you would hardly be able to guess that you're only about an hour from Phoenix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, stretching to more than 7,000 yards from the back tees. Each hole provides a different challenge thanks to the fluctuating elevations, which are complemented by strategically placed bunkers. You won't find too many water hazards but you're in for a challenge where it does come into play. One of the most notable water holes is the par-3 13th, which has a massive lake hugging the right side of the green. It's followed by another water hole, a par 5 with ponds on either side. The appeal of the golf course goes beyond the challenging layout, Wickenburg Ranch offers scenic views of Vulture Peak and Prescott National Forest as well as mild temperatures almost year-round.

A GEM
This place is just fantastic! Course is in great shape, with undulating fairways and greens that are very soft and receptive. Greens were rolling at about a 10.5, which is actually a bit too slow for me, but regardless, this place is a treat! I've heard that the availability here is temporary, as it will ultimately become a private club in the relatively near future, so play it while you can!!
Not So Hidden Gem
Wickenburg Ranch is a gem in a pantheon of courses in the valley that one must play to truly appreciate. The course is in immaculate condition from tee to green and the staff is the friendliest I’ve encountered at any course I’ve played in the area. A “must play” in my book.

The course was in great condition from tees to greens. One of the best courses in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area and worth the drive..
Wickenburg Ranch
Excellent course! Absolutely beautiful!!! Course was in great shape and was fun to play. Staff was super friendly and very helpful since it was our first time playing it. Marshals keep the pace going but they are not breathing down your neck. They make sure everybody is having fun and enjoying the pace. Highly recommend this course, we will definitely come back!

We are from South Carolina and have been in
Scottsdale at a VRBO for six weeks. Have played golf 5X a week at different golf courses. Wicke burg is the best in the area. Worth the drive. We have never taken the time to write a review but couldn’t pass up the chance for others to know how great it is.

Not friendly
I was a ride along. Wanted to practice some on the range as I’m new to the game. Was told no and if I wanted to I would have to pay as if I was playing. Went elsewhere in wickenburg and was treated much nicer.

Still a teriffic layout
Punched and sanded a few weeks ago. Not completely healed but the greens putted great and are even a little spongy to hold shots. A little browning in some fairways but better than most. Love this course.

First time at WR
Great golf course. Friendly staff, good practice range and putting green. Very nicely manicured from tees to green. Highly recommend making the drive and playing this beauty!!

What is with the service at these courses?
Been on the course for 2+ hours, no beverage cart. It’s over 100° outside. And there was no one inside the bar/restaurant before we started. But there were 6+ people waiting for service. Service 100% sucks - management not present.
Great place for golf
Zero complaints - staff, cart girl, starter, condition and even the restaurant were all outstanding
