First time cheshunt
Heard a lot of good reports over the years but never managed to play it til yesterday!
£16 plus booking fee was still good value for a Friday afternoon.
Even after all the recent rain, the fairways and rough/semi rough were well maintained.
Greens were in pretty good condition apart from the noticeable amount of unrepaied pitch marks! Worst I’ve seen in years !
In general the experience was good but not sure if due to COVID but bunkers were in very poor condition as there were no rakes so they were unraked and there were many with grass and weeds too!
Sorry but one other thing I noticed but the waste bins were overflowing and it appeared that the birds and squirrels were busy scattering rubbish looking for food! Problem easily rectified byv council!
Would go back again!
Ground staff - issues
Cheshunt park golf course is ok
The layout is good, it’s quite long and probably the right price for the course £25 for 18 holes nowadays is good
The ground staff - terrible. !!
I don’t know who upset them but they are rude with no etiquette
In the one round on 2 occasions we had to wait for them1, trim the tea off pint 5 mins and second worst of all
The guy was mowing the green in front of us another 5 minutes

He made no attempt to acknowledge this

Good course
A well looked after course, with some nice open fairways, I found the greens in really good condition would just like to of found a bit more sand in them bunkers to play out of, will definitely be back soon
First course in 2 years
Nice course to get back into golf. Greens are lovely and some nice tactical holes for lay up. Would go back.
Well maintained course
After a hot and dry week I was very impressed with the fairways and greens! I rarely play well on this course but it's a great course with good features so I'll keep coming back to chase a good score. Staff are excellent too!
Nice course but suffering from the heat
unfortunately the recent heatwave has burned out most of the fairways, and i have no doubt the local authorities won't allow golf courses to water them. The greens however were in excellent condition yet again.
One aspect of this course that is exemplary is the etiquette of the golfers. As a single golfer it's uncommonly nice for 4 groups to allow me to play through, which greatly increases my enjoyment of the round.
Good value
A good value course with a great chipping area. Three or four greens always seem worse than the rest but (apart from those) the greens are generally good and the course is lovely.
Nice course but dreadful pace of play
I really like the course and layout of Cheshunt, but it seems that since the easing of the lockdown, the pace of play at everywhere has gotten really bad. The round today was no exception, although a few groups did have the courtesy to let faster players through.
The condition of the course was pretty good, and the greens were lovely.
Very nice course surprising holes
First time playing. I had a good day, some of the par 3 and 4 holes were challenging. Well payed out. Pace was a bit on the slow side, but I wasn't in a hurry. Well worth a visit. I shall return
VERY Deceiving
THE COURSE WAS WELL MAINTAINED. Some of the holes are very deceiving and okay look longer than they are, I like the way you start and end with a Par 5.

Well maintained fairways and rough with very decent greens. Some challenging holes requires good course management. Would return again

Value for money...
The layout is great. Greens could be better. Good course to improve their game for high handicappers. I’ll definitely come back...
