Better luck next time
This is the second time I've played here in the space of 4 days, and the experience was so much better than the last time. My first outing led me to give up after 14 holes due to the incredibly slow play. To be honest I felt more sorry for the pro golfer I let through, but gave up after 9 holes. 4 hours for 14 holes is terrible.
My second go was so much better. It's a really nice golf course and I like the layout, but what really impressed me was the exceptional etiquette of the 3 four balls that allowed me to play through. I wish more people were this courteous, it'd make the game so much better for everyone. I finished my round in less than 3 hours and reckon I cost each of the guys who let me past no more than 3 to 5 minutes wait.
All in all, I had an excellent days golf, and will definitely play the course again.
Nice course pitty about the pace of play
This was the first time I had played the course and thought it was very nicely layed out and in good condition. Unfortunately, as is the case with so many courses, people who play slow don't have the decency to let quicker players through. It's a pity, since I had to cut the round short as the light was running out. I'll look to play again and hopefully complete the whole course.
Easy to book, showed up and straight on. Good solid course for all levels of golf
Great parkland course. Good value for money particularly if you look at any deals on offer. Greens and fairways in very good condition. The pace of play can be slow at times but that is the fault of the golfers not the course.
Average
Having read some of the reviews here I was looking forward to this course however was slightly disappointed
The course like a lot of municipal courses looks tired
Tee boxes in very poor condition greens were average and generally the whole course had a rather unkempt feel to it
Having said that it is quite an interesting course and with a bit of TLC would definitely be one that I would visit again
Great Course for the Price
A great course for the price you are paying.
Great conditions in the summer and a good course to play midweek after work.
Very good for a public course
Slow pace due to slow four balls in front of me. Greens good, bunkers a bit sparse, good to see sand boxes being topped up. Great local facility and thanks to the ground staff for all their obvious hard work.
Decent
Played here today for the first time with my son . Enjoyed it. Would describe as a good municipal course. Course condition was overall good. Greens were quite quick and looked good and were generally true. Course layout was good with each hole given a map on each tee showing the hazards. One or two better than average holes such as the second with a nice approach over the pond and the sixteenth where position for your second is key. Otherwise fairly open off the tee . Got stuck behind a 3 ball for a few holes but they soon happily let us through. Found everyone very friendly and would play there again. Would mention the very good value as we paid £11 each as part of a “ hot deal” teeing off at 1:45. For this price it is very good value for money. We play off 16/18 and scored 14/20.
Give it a go.
VFM course in very good condition greens superb took a buggy out and had a 2 1/2 round no hold ups rough cut very fairly..
God Course for the money
Facility are adequate, course in good condition, pave of play was a bit slow
cracking Course
Cheshunt Park is a cracking course.
Some of the par 4's are a true test of your golfing capabilities. Some nice strategic water holes and bunkers waiting for the big hitters or the erratic golfers..which we all fall in to at some point.
Staff super nice and a very enjoyable course.

Cracking
Fabulous course. Long and testing. Lots of hazards to keep you on your toes and to stay focused. The greens had been treated and we're not perfect but still they looked good and were in good condition. Well done Cheshunt. There are many a so called elite courses that could learn from you. Staff so very nice. Will without doubt be back.
Ian.
A joy to play here
We played as a 4 ball. The course was extremley pleasant and mostly level ground. All the greens were well kept and hardly any waiting around to play at all. look forward to playing again soon.
Played on a sunny Sunday afternoon for the bargin price of £11 thanks to t off times hot deals, really enjoyable course, in a very good condition. Hard to loose your ball here, although its tree lined you can always find your ball, greens were a decent good rolls with turns in them, only thing that lets it down, people not repairing there pitch marks.
Fun municipal
Course in good condition. Can get around quickly and locals are friendly.
