Lakeside Golf Course

Value for money- scenic course.

Enjoyed round.

The ground was quite hard after the harsh summer but greens were good.

Recommend course and facilities.

Great little course in excellent condition with top class greens just a pity the 9th/18th has been shortened, it really doesn’t work as a par 4 sorry but was a good par 5.

Some slow play ahead- 3 groups of 4 players.

A fabulous hidden gem, challenging incline and declining holes. Legs get a good work out too.

Abit to hilly for me! , and quite a trek between tees. Luvly club house.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, splitting the round with a steak ciabatta from the clubhouse, which was beautiful. A lovely warm welcome on arrival to explain the new trackman set up in the range (which looks great). Winter tees in play, which is obviously less preferred but understandable. Course was in Good condition though. 9th hole now much shorter but I quite like the new layout making it a dog leg over the water. Never had a bad experience at Lakeside.

Staying local and time for a quick 9 holes before work. Booked online for first tee time of 8am. Clubhouse was closed, so had to tee off with no score card/course planner.

Fairways and greens were well maintained and in great condition for the time of year. Weather has been wet, but course was holding up well. Green keepers were working cutting greens and bunkers being raked. Interesting course being 9 holes but 18 tees. Could do with marker directions for next tee as some are quite far apart.

Did not use the clubhouse but looked good. I will definitely return again.

Was a 9 hole course but now has 2 tees per hole. Tee positions give the feel of playing a different back 9

Course and greens are exceptionally well maintained.

The club house provides excellent food and drinks at very good prices.

All in all a good days golfing

I've enjoyed playing golf at Lakeside for years, unfortunately membership and general pay to play prices are a bit much for me these days so the option of playing at a reduced rate through Golf Now works great for me. I often only have time for 9holes and to pay for 18 through Golf Now is cheaper than paying for 9 at the course.

Really good course in great condition.

The greens were in perfect condition but are very difficult because of the undulations.

The ninth hole is a bit strange, the fairway is also the driving range.

You have to press a buzzer before walking across .

Beautiful course that played exceptionally well, especially given all the wet weather. Nice to have a warm up at the range first and the cooked breakfast afterwards was top notch. Excellent value for money and the clubhouse and course staff were very welcoming. I've never had a bad experience at Lakeside (outside of my own play)

Went round on my own and it’s great they let me know it was greens week but don’t matter course is in fantastic condition and will be playing again regularly.

Very nice course, excellent condition, huge greens. Stunning views. Very up and down!! Definitely would play again.
