Very boring course and too short.

The layout is terrible, each hole is basically going up and down along side each other, there is only 1 hole that has any features in it on the whole course.

Tee boxes are shocking, very small and full of bumps and not flat, had the ball above my feet on almost every tee shot.

Greens where very good I'll give them that although they was very flat and had little to no contours in them.

Pro shop is tiny and stocks only drinks and tees

Overall a very boring and forgettable experience, not worth the time and definitely won't be returning.

I was really impressed with the setup here. The greens are superb, the course is not too challenging but it’s not that easy either! Super location, great service I am back next week!

We were very disappointed to discover that even though we booked through Golfnow and specifically stated 2 players, when we arrived we were placed in a four ball. When we asked the staff why this happened they clearly pointed out that it wasn't the course but Golfnow that had double booked our time slot......really unhappy with this as it messed up the speed of play and our enjoyment of the round. This short 9 holer is great for practicing your short game, with amazing greens and excellent fairways (if conditions are dry).

Anything the course lacks in length, is made up for in friendliness and just good fun to play. As it's a 'country club' I wondered if it would be stuffy, but nothing could be further from the truth.

I was waved through by a four ball at the first opportunity and the president of the club was out and about band came over to make me welcome and have a nice chat.

Although only a 9 hole course, you play from a different set of tees for the second 9.

Practice chipping area needs working on as it's just a mowed area with a flag stick shoved in it, but I enjoyed making use of the practice bunkers, and thoroughly enjoyed my game.

First time playing this course and I enjoyed it. Course was in good condition with nice greens. I was overall pleasantly surprised, great 9 holer.

Great 9 hole in fantastic condition, has the feel of an 18 hole with dome long holes to challenge

2nd time I've played at Oak Royal. First time was a few weeks ago when the weather was a lot better. The course layout is great and the greens are some of the best I've ever played on. Sadly today wasn't great but that was due to the weather and not the course.

Great 9 hole golf course, superb greens and fairways really well looked after.

Will definitely book again and also recommend to friends.
