Oak Royal Golf & Country Club

Had a really good game of golf played on my own but managed to get off just before a few more pairs and had a really good game.

The pace of the game is always quite good here as the holes are always quite near to each other.

Have to say this is a really good test of GolfEspecially on the last two or three holes where are you have to drive just short of the river or past it .

It’s definitely suitable for high handicappers up to 20 you will really enjoy the course

After reading some good reviews I was very disappointed with the overall golfing experience at this 9 hole course. Drainage is clearly an issue. Balls plugged even on the fairways. The greens were in good condition if very slow. Bunkers decent. Course layout was the most disappointing aspect with only a few holes that looked interesting.

Enjoyable afternoon good greens but average fairways not to challenging but an enjoyable 9 holes

Course in good condition as usual, greens rolling well. Good test as the course if relatively short but the rough is very thick and difficult to play out of. Lost a couple of balls due to early morning sun and thick rough which doesn’t help my score without PGA spotters.

We had a lovely round of golf yesterday, as beginners it was an ideal course for us both, We will defiantly return in the future.

Lovely course, generally well kept with excellent green. Not a difficult course, ideal for the high handicap golfer. Can be a but hectic on the fairways when it’s busy as several fairways have two tees but it doesn’t spoil the round. Weekday evenings are very pleasant, not too much traffic & everyone is very friendly.

Very well looked after course both greens and fairways in excellent condition. Only 9 holes but separate tee areas for the back 9, which did not affect the pace of play, will be returning to play this challenging course again.

No facilities open at the moment but seems to be a very nice hotel and clubhouse.

A nicely laid out course in good condition. Can get congested when players are on back 9 as it’s the same fairways and greens with a different tee box for holes 10-18

Really enjoyed playing Oak Royal with a club member.

Course was in excellent condition with some really nice holes, especially the par 3’s.

Everybody on the course & pro shop were so friendly and the course is fantastic value for money!

Great course really enjoyed can’t wait for the club house to be open aswell only 2nd time iv played and it’s given me the big big time got a par on the first so was in a buzzing mood all day hahaha
