Cobblestone Golf Course

Weather was perfect. Greens were at there best. I am never disappointed to get a round in at Cobblestone. The Hot Deal price just sweeten the experience.

Came in town to play this course as I read numerous great reviews. First off there is a nice pro shop/club house when you roll in. They have a nice driving range/practice area to take advantage of before your round (although some parts were being renovated).

Overall, this was a fun track to play although challenging, very tight and left little room for error. Definitely have an opportunity to hit every club in your bag. The course is right on the lake so it makes for a beautiful layout.

I only gave 4 stars because the tee boxes were in awful shape. I’m not sure if they lost the grass or what , but they were flat out awful. I saw where sprinklers were going off on the tee boxes in between groups playing and several tee boxes were soaked, muddy and little grass to even hit off of. I have no doubt they used to be in better condition, but they have a lot of work to do to get these back where they should be. I will be back to play this course again in the near future.

Too many slow groups- Teed off at 3pm and called it a day after 9 at 5:30. This is the problem with Cobblestone- great course with too many slow players. Rangers in afternoons do not keep pace moving and things back up so it ruins the experience. Also, for some reason they were watering the T boxes so u teed off in muddy conditions. This was unusual for Cobblestone. Bottom line - great course when not stuck behind slow players- which is more often than not.

Excellent practice facilities and the course is always in good condition. The greens put well but the break can be hard to figure. There is enough slope and speed to fool you from three feet.

The course has a mixture of short and long holes. Some fairways are tight, and all greens are small and well bunkered. There are some beautiful holes on Lake Acworth and wind can be a factor. It is important to stay in the fairway because ithe rough is thick and will require a layup.

This is a challenging course that plays tougher than its rating.

Course was great. Greens were fantastic. The only thing that keeps them from getting a 5 star rating are the tee boxes. Many, but not all, tee boxes had no grass and very uneven. I will go back!

This course is BEAUTIFUL!! My wife and I both agree it is a breath-taking course. Luckily, the design of the rolling hills are on the edges of the fairway, so if you can keep it straight, you can get some extra run on your shots...but get outside...good luck! Hole 1 is intimidating the first time teeing off...the hills, the view, this course is exhilarating to play! I will definitely be back...fast greens, gorgeous views, excellent condition!

Playing Cobblestone at 3pm or later is not only and exceptional value but the pace of play is quick versus trying to play during the late morning and afternoon hours. The course is challenging, requiring precise shots across the first 7 holes before settling in for some less daunting holes. The fairways and greens are looking fabulous, shaped by towering pines making it an overall great golf experience. Can't wait to get back out later this week.

I always like playing Cobblestone. Great layout and fairly challenging. Green are in excellent condition. Staff is always friendly. I'll be back again soon.

Playing at Twilight is incredibly enjoyable and enables you to enjoy the beautiful but challenging layout at Cobblestone. Cant recommend it enough- Thanks

Have played this course for years and have to see it is in phenomenal shape. Greens are absolutely perfect and probably the best I habe ever Aden them. Probably rolling around 11+. Course is also lush and the views are great. Such a great layout.

The golf course is an awesome layout and the conditions were pretty good. I wish they would not let singles play alone when it's busy especially on the weekends. Singles should not be allowed to play alone on the weekend on a golf course that gets as much play as this one. It took us 4:30 hrs to play as a 2 some we had a single behind us and one in front of us, both ended up quitting at the turn due to slow play. Then we had a foursome in front of us, a 2 some joined us on 10 and all was good on the back nine, just a suggestion to the pro shop do not allow singles to play by themselves on the weekend or when it's busy.

The staff was awesome as the Rangers were polite and helpful.

The only bad thing that I experienced was cart path only that day, the 15th. The course was not wet enough and all the golfers thoughts playing there were the same. Had not rained in 3 1/2 days.

Greens and fairways were in great shape.
