Cobblestone Golf Course

It was our foursomes first time at Cobblestone and I do not recommend this course for players who shoot 100+. It is a challenging course, but those who shoot 100+ may feel rushed and have a negative experience. We played off the whites which was fun and to the comfort zone of the others in my group. If you drive 250-280 you may be using woods off the Tee. I found the landing zones for my driving more suitable to playing off the blues.

Great course for those golfers who shoot bogey golf. Will return soon!

Wonderful landscape tough course but fair several tee boxes to choose from

i was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and volunteers.

Had really good weather. Quite a few player so was slow at times. Greens and fairways are not fully grown in yet. There is lots of slope in the greens so putting can be a real challenge. On this course you really need to play the tees that are right for you. If you play the ones that are too long for you expect a very tough round. On the holes that are short, expect the fairway to be narrower. This course has plenty of challenge.

While I would recommend this course to a friend it would only be if they could get a hot deal. The course is in much better shape than it was 5 years ago but still not a 65 dollar course. The greens were decent but did not roll as well as you would expect when paying that much to play a course. Most fairways were in decent shape but there was still a lot of areas that were bare. A lot of the greens still had bare spots as well.

In my opinion it is a pretty tough course. You have to hit it straight as there is not a lot of room for bailout. If you do miss the fairway left or right more than likely you will need to punch out to set yourself up for a decent 3rd shot in.

All in all I would def play it again but only if I could get a good rate through golf now.

Greens were slow and very bumpy. Almost unplayable.

Cobblestone is our favorite course in Cobb. Course has great layout, well maintained greens, and amazing view of Lake Allatoona on many of the holes. I Rec this course to any kind of golfer!!

Greens seemed to be over played.

Nice challenging course. On this day (Friday mid-day) the pace of play was slow but this could be partly due to the high wind conditions.

Would play this one again.

From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and entered through the gate I knew that I was in the right place for a great round of golf. The driving range was immaculate period even though I had to hit off the mats they were not the cheap kind of meds you would see at an everyday driving range. According to my Rangefinder all of the yardage is more accurate within 2 to 3 yards. The course is difficult for a beginner but easily reachable for a intermediate to expert golfer. The greens were absolutely stunning and rolled true. The staff were more than inviting and I would definitely recommend another round to anyone that was interested. Surprised that I have not played here before.

Either though there was rain in that area. The ourselves was in great shape. No standing water on any of the holes. Mud was not bad unless you hit the ball high. Then the ball would plug. Sand traps a little wet but could hit the ball as it lies. Two of my friends that live in Georgia have never played there. I was visiting from Houston, TX. Blue tees are perfect. White a little short. Overall great time. Hope to play again in the future. If I have friends going that way I will mention to them to play around. Thanks to all at Cobblestone.

I have played this course once before in 2015 and I wasn't impressed with the conditions of the course at that time. This time the course was in dramatically better shape. Still a bit damp and there hadn't been any rain in a while but still 90 degree rule was enforced which was great. Greens and fairways were in fantastic shape. I will be back and I do recommend this course in its current condition.

Cobblestone is a course all Atlanta golfers need to play at least once. It has everything that you ask from a course, as you use every club in your bag. The course was in great condition and pace of play was pretty good (4.5 hr round) , this considering how busy they were. It is a Must Play!

We decided to play a quick round on New Year's Day after all the rain, and picked a random course. Overall the course was in pretty good shape for the amount of rain Atlanta has had the two weeks prior to playing. Even thought the course drained well the greens were a bit slow due to water and the lack of mowing (which was probably a smart move).
Course Staff was very nice and kept the pace playing. Chatting with players about the history of the course and gave some hints on how to play was a nice distraction while we waiting for our turn on the box. He also talked to a few guys ahead to make sure they were playing the right tees; which for them might have bothered them but for us kept the pace moving :)

Note: Cart Return has an air hose to clean shoes and clubs (If the cart guys are not already cleaning them for you).

We will will be playing again (When Warmer!) If you happen to play before Winter ends, bring something to block the wind

Course is in nice shape. Many challanges to overcome ie number one is narrow and green heavily bunkered. Greens are slow. Holes on the lake are very scenic. Strongly suggest the whites at about 5,800 yds for mid handicappers to make for a fun round.

I played 18 holes a day after about three days of rain. The course was wet and did not drain. I still enjoyed the round. Only have to find a dry spot to tee off on most of the holes. Drove the par three with my driver

Conditions were awful due to all of the rain. Not course's fault. Cart path only slowed play, also not their fault. Good test of golf. Good value for the price.
