Cobblestone Golf Course

Marshall was rude, pace of play was poor. Marshall did not give correct information

No rain in 10 days but course soaked. Even tee boxes had standing water. Driving range closed at 10:30 am for grass cutting. Waited on every shot, no ranger to be found. Finally ranger allowed us to play though group ahead, still took over 5 hours - will likely never play this course again.

Played today. First, the driving range was closed, at 10:30 am for cutting the grass - you kidding me. Opened at 11 am and tee time was 11:10 - thanks. Was cart path only, and even the tee boxes had standing water from the watering. Stuck behind a slow group, yet no ranger to be found. 5 hours is ridiculous. Will not play again.

Bad timing ... Perfect weather but overseeding and watering made the course soaked wet and cart path only on a perfect fall day. Greens are super.

the course is a fantastic setup. several cool holes around the lake, lots of mounds thru out the fairways. the greens were rolling well. it is one of my favorite courses. HOWEVER it is always a slow round, so be prepared for that. and the day we played they had just overseeded the fairways, in fact they were still finishing it up that day. so because of that the course was sloppy wet and cart path only. they now have an advisory on the tee times because of the maintenance- but they didn't when I bought the tee time. I would have chosen to play somewhere else that was in better shape and come back to cobblestone in several weeks when it should be great again with overseeded fairways having grown in and it wouldn't be cart path only. it made for a long, strenuous, wet, walking day even though we paid for a cart.
but again it is a really nice layout, just give it a few weeks

Very scenic and challenging public course that plays like a private course. Lush fairways. Small narrow greens are fast Bermuda tiff smooth and firm. Plenty of uneven lies. Mixture of short and long holes. Two holes along Lake Acworth. Narrow par threes are guarded by bunkers. Lake is in play on one par 3. Several holes can be birdie or bogey holes.

The public course greens are beautiful. Great Military rates and good pace of play.

Course is in nice shape, but the facility is not set up to accommodate women that can't consistently drive the ball 175+.

If you're looking for a course to play at and your in the area of Kennesaw, Ga. I highly recommend you tryout Cobblestone. The course is in great condition the views of the holes that are on the lake are refreshing on a summer day.

Marshall did not keep play moving and was not friendly. Course was in good condition. Greens aerated and are back in good shape, fast.

Great views of the lake on about 7 holes course was in great condition a little narrow at times but best value for the money.

The greens are very good now. The fairways are very good. Just a few tee boxes need some work. I have always enjoyed playing this course. This course is not easy and it makes you work for a par.

Cobblestone is a good track with pretty good conditions. However, you can get in a lot of trouble quickly if you cant move the ball both ways as there are many doglegs. You rarely hit driver if you hit over 260yds. The course is very scenic and the greens are so close to being excellent. They are still just a little bit fuzzy.

The course is a great layout and can be very challenging. The area has suffered from a very hot summer but is still holding up ok. My only issue with the course is that the bunkers have been neglected and more like waist bunkers. Overall this is still one of the best places to play in the area.

The course was in great condition. Tee to green was outstanding. Greens had a little bit of sand on them, but the excellent condition made up for this! If you have not played this course, you're in for a treat. It can be challenging with some tight fairways! Beautiful views with lake backgrounds.

Played the coarse in early summer. Conditions where great! Fast & challeging greens and great views of the lake. Great staff and mechandise selection. Wonderful practice facility. Can't wait to play there again!

This was the second time I played this course. It is challenging but in excellent condition!
The staff was great and the overall experience was as well. I will be back!

Very good course. I was impressed with the views and the course. There is plenty of undulation, and awkward shots from side hill, uphill, and downhill lies. Hazards are very present but fair. I had a good time playing this course. I had my worst day of the summer as far as golf goes, but the course held up its end of the bargain. It's closer to me than I thought, so I will def be back out. The only negative is that it's not a great value. The pricing could be a little more reasonable, but it is def the top course in the Kennesaw, Marietta, Acworth area (that I am aware of that's public). I do live in COBB so maybe i'll check out the Cobb card.

This course is very enjoyable. There were a couple of confusing tee boxes, but I was able to figure them out without trouble. The staff was friendly and helpful to this first-timer. Playing by myself picked up with some very friendly guys with course experience. The course is picturesque with views of Lake Acworth. I plan to return very soon. I will recommend to my friends.

The Greens and Fast-huge sand trap on 10 and 11 use need to stay to the right but away from the trees. 18 is a hole to pull out your driver and go for a eagle.
