Practice facility: A+, great price on range balls, practice greens (chipping and putting) were awesome.

This is a GREAT value, they treat it like a private course, callouts over a PA system for tee times, the starter gives you full breakdowns, and welcomes you. Great experience.

The greens kept everything super interesting. Fun and tough

Had a 5:40 tee time and it worked out great. Finished up just as it started getting too dark for my old eyes. Lol. Highly recommend Playing here if you’re in the area.

For early spring, the course is in good condition...tees, greens are excellent and fairways good with some bare spots. Layout is challenging with a lot of "buried elephants" making for uneven lies in many places. Course is set in a beautiful setting with many holes adjacent to the lake. All staff were personable and more than willing to assist and offer course guidance. Will definitely play this course many more times.

I played Cobblestone last week with some friends coming in from out of town. Cobblestone blows all other public tracks out of the water. For the price - amazing staff, great range, amazing course layout with great conditions. The greens were fantastic, fairways were a little beat up in some spots, but it is still April...

Overall.. absolutely amazing public course - possibly the all around best public course experience I've had in a long time. Highly recommend!!

Friendly staff, greens were great, and the views were wonderful. A little wet from the rain but that's to be expected. Would definitely recommend this course if you can get a tee time!

Showed up to the course with a late tee off of 2 minutes with father in law, uncle and wife, father in law was first time golfer. Our game was best ball, to keep up with the courses groups.

Im going to take a moment to say, one of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. Even out displaying and shaping TCP San Antonio.

That’s where this review stops in positivity.

The ranger staff, Tom and Richard, made it very clear that even though we were keeping pace with the groups ahead and even allowed a better group behind to play through. We were unwelcome.

Tom, followed us insistently on every hole 1 through 4, overseeing everything like it was a military drill, taking the relaxing feeling of the game of golf on a public course out. I was completely unable to find my game to keep driving our family in pace with the teams around because if this.

After this on the 5th hole I asked Tom to please move on so we could enjoy ourselves and get our pace of play up. His overburdening behavior was slowing us.

We kept up with the group we let through and on the 8th with the beer carts, chatted them up and even had a great time joking about how bad the rangers were. I also had to warn them of a four because I can drive up to 300 yards at times. And almost hit them

That there’s a pace of play and made the afternoon very uncomfortable. At the 17th hole Richard insisted that we were holding up the group behind us, who was still 200 yards out from us on the prior hole while we were teeing up.

Tom and Richard made the game so uncomfortable we decided to not play and watch the group infront of us on the last hole. And just drive up with them.

Overall a fun course if you can play, but ranger staffs need to be reminded of the relaxing nature of golf.

Rain, wind and cold made it a bit difficult, but course was in poor shape and had to wait on every hole

Best thing about this course are the views. Skinny greens not in great shape too many walkers very slow pace of play. Not sure I’ll revisit.

The course layout was great. The staff was great! But it was a swamp! It rained the night before, and the course was a swamp! The fairways do not drain at all! Every fairway was soaked! It seemed like the sprinklers were left on over night along with the rain.

I would not play here if it rained the day or night before.

Most of the fairways and tee boxes are beat up and full of debris, leaves, pine straw, divots etc. Traps too!

The price I paid was great since I booked a hot deal. The course was a little soggy due to the heavy rain that came through a couple days before. The course drains a little below average but I was able to avoid most of the muddy spots. Started on the back 9 which I’m not a fan of on this particular course but no big deal. Overall I could not beat the value and time to play.
