Best course for the price
Best course for the price in the area! Great for working on your short game. Staff is always super friendly.
Fun 18 hole executive course
Really like the course for a good practice of short game skills..
Great Value
The course is is relatively good condition, the staff is friendly, it has a nice club house and our round moved with no real delays.
Rough Greens
The greens were aerated a couple of weeks ago, and still when putting you’ll and see the ball jump a lot on the way to the cup.
Get Fit
Great walking course. Even in my 70’s, the evenness of this course doesn’t wear me out as I walk around. The only hill I have to worry about is my trip up to the clubhouse where I know a cold beer is waiting for me.
Aerated greens really sucked
We didn’t realize the greens had been aerated. The greens were very firm. Do that it was difficult to hit the green and have it stick, the is very little marine for error, so a few lost balls, I’m looking forward to playing it again now that I know the strategy: don’t be too aggressive.
Aerated back nine
Arrived at course to find out back nine closed to aeration of greens. Would like to known of this before making tee time. This is not the first time, Tee Off/GolfNow has omitted this information.
Short game
Challenging greens on 14 par 3s and 4 par 4s with few water hazards walked course in 3+ hours
My go-to spot
First course I played when I was new. Still my favorite to work on irons. Shorter 18 hole course with only three par 4s. I love that I can always squeeze in a quick round. Staff and everyone I've been put in a group with have all been the nicest people.
Friendly Executive Course
Played an early round at an acceptable pace. It has been 8-9 years since I have played Antelope Greens. It is in much better shape now than in the past, well maintained with fast smooth greens. The new clubhouse/pro-shop is an excellent facility. Will certainly return next time I am in Sacramento.

I love this course. The people that run it are great too
Greens in excellent condition and quick; course is NOT too wet
Greens in excellent condition, smooth and quick. Fairways are in good shape and fairly dry; not too wet from the rains. Played 18 holes in 2 hours, 35 minutes, but teed off before 8 a.m., so not too many golfers on the course yet. Great pace of play in this particular instance.
