Brea Creek Golf Course

I am new to golf and getting here for my first time was super easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was offered a cart, or even a rolling cart for my clubs. I overheard a program available for seniors, which is great. The course itself is very challenging. I think even for pros, the creek will challenge your stroke a few times. Putting here also is a challenge, I loved the difficulty. I will be coming back here for sure more and more!

After playing here a handful of times, I’ve grown a sincere fondness for this course, Some may turn up their nose at this place because it is reasonably cheap to play, but the seasoned golfer can find just as much to admire about this course as a beginner. Considering the architects use the creek as a natural hazard, one can expect a challenge from even some of the shorter holes. If you are new to this wonderful game and decide to play here, be forewarned. You will lose golf balls. The fairways are a bit narrow on most holes, and the greens are a challenging read. So if you’re up for it, do not miss out on this course.

The staff is quite friendly, and are keen to offer advice. Victoria gave me a few pointers on how to play the course with a smile and courteously advised me to spend a bit more time on the range before my first time playing. The course is entirely walkable. I tend to prefer carrying my clubs, but there are push carts and golf carts available for rent (both of which are sanitized as per CDC guidelines).

Drinks (i.e. beer, soda, water, etc.) are available for purchase where the starter is located. On my last visit they were installing a new coffee machine, so any early birds that may not have gotten their caffeine fix can grab a cup before they head out on the course.

My only gripe with this course is that it can get backed up. Plan to wait.

Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone. Nice casual place to play.

This course has been great for teaching our 9 grandkids . Nice that they have a reasonable junior fee and senior fee as well as the deal times on Tee Off

Dont waste your time. Pace of play was ridiculously slow and conditions were not good. Management deems this "acceptable" with twilight rates.. Didn't even offer an apology for a blatant waste of time and money

I love this small 9 hole course it is more challenging then some 18s I play. Today was slightly slower pace a lil backed up. But that could be from the fact its a nice course reasonably priced always in great condition. Se you guys in two weeks

Staying in La Habra Heights and looked for a short 9 hole course. G.N. had a Hot Deal for $10- wow! At $16 this is still a good deal. Greens were well maintained and Covid-19 cup protection one of the best I have seen. Didn't use the driving range but it looked like a nice, real grass practice facility. I will play again when I'm back in town and can't play a full 18 at a championship course.

Always a fun executive course to play, with par 3’s and 2x par 4’s.. good challenge course while still easy enough for beginners, with fun challenging greens. Wish people would take better care of their ball marks on the green but that is kinda expected on smaller courses. Nice driving range, plenty of parking and good pace of play on weekdays and early morning weekends. Bring extra balls as there are definitely challenges over the creek where you can lose a ball or two or not straight and long enough.
