It’s starting to get better !
The course has been going through changes due to new ownership. It is starting to get better each time I play it.

Charged twice.
I paid for the round with this application and the pro shop charged me again. Every other time I've used the app. I have never been charged twice.

Now I remember why I don't play this cours.e
Staff is friendly but now very orginized at all.
Tee time was at 11am and checked in at 10:45 as instructed. I was told they were 15 minutes behind due to the frost but they also didn't have any carts (which was part of my golf now deal).
Didn't get our cart until almost 11:30 and then we were in line for the 1st tee with 2 other groups in front of us who had not teed off.
Needless to say a scheduled 11 am tee time has us at the 18th hole right ag 5pm, very frustrating and no marshal to be found.

This is the best shape that the course has been in years. I’ve been playing this course for yeas and have played it at its best and worst.

Only If You Have a Deal
Played this course for the first time . We got there 50 minutes before tee time. There was absolute o practice area or driving range. We were not allowed to check in until 15 minutes before tee time. There was no employee there except one man in the pro shop. There was no starter. We waited in line to start our round. Tee boxes areas were rough and bunkers were wet and hard. Most fairways were ok with some wet spots. All greens were in excellent shape. The pace was great as well. It seemed like the course was in the process to do some repair or renovation. This is not a good time to play unless you got a deal on the green fees.

Needs Lots Of Work !
I’ve heard that this course has new owners ? Course is practically unplayable . I really feel sorry for those home owners that invested with the anticipation of having a decent course to on a regular basis. This course is garbage and should be turned into a dog park or get new owners that will make the investment to make it playable !

Too many cart patis only
The Gps on carts and too many cart paths only serves as a hassle for rhe pace of the game

So easily fixed
Conditions ok, greens almost always nice. Good employees hard to find(looking at you pro shop staff) but the main cart guy is great. Hit or miss on a beverage cart, even on the weekends or holiday. The main problem here is the awful system they put on the carts which act as both gps and a cart control system which is there to keep players from driving on ground under repair or par 3s etc, but it stops the cart often, and I mean often, in the middle of the cart path or fairway, then you have to slowly back up until the system decides you've been punished enough. I've heard many players state that they would never return, and this weekend my group decided the same thing. Sad. And the fact that you can always walk right on and play shows the impact the GPS system is having on the number of rounds played. Rex should wake up and fix this situation before this course goes under too

Course not bad ..
The course is fair condition but I never seen a course that to many Car path only fairways and the GPS if you are not on the fairway the cart will stop and you have to reset in order to moved…

Bunkers are in terrible, no sand .
I have played this course for 20 years , it has been in terrible condition the last five years . Rough is too long,
There are many soggy areas on the course and the management changes are not conducive to playing here anymore . My father is severely handicapped so I ask them to turn off the cart restrictions . They are severe!!!!
I am sorry to say we will not be playing this course anytime soon. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed the staff .

This course is in bad condition
This course has the potential to be great, but it is far from great right now and I don’t see them getting it to a better place anytime soon. I will not be returning anytime soon.

One of my last choices
This course is getting worse in last years. Driving range and putting green vanished for buildings. Hits off the fairways had troubles to find balls in deep weeds and rough. Many bunkers are just dirts and muds. Stupid carts with inaccurately GPS-sensed controls to keep away restricted areas on every hole. I found one cart got a cable cut under the steering wheel that probably explains. Serious players won't like it now. Won't be surprised to take 3 hours for 9 holes, if some slow players are ahead of you. This course becomes in the bottom side of my course picks.

The price was right but the course was poor and the staff unfriendly
My brother-in-law and I haven’t played Brentwood since the pandemic. The course conditions were poor at best. The reception in the pro,shop was cold and unhelpful. The course was fairly quiet so we played the first nine in 1’ 50”; we ran into a wall on the back which took 2’ 20”. The greens were in good condition and ran true. The tee boxes were thin, the fairways rough and the bunkers were devoid of sand.

They should be embarrassed
The condition of this course could not be worse. Bumpy greens, horrible bunkers, uneven cut grass in fairways and rough. Tee boxes a mess. Nothing manicured, like playing in a field. Maintenance is non existent. In summer, without water, the course was unplayable, Gave them another chance since the recent northern CA rains have helped all courses in the area. Not this one. Will not return.
