Monday game
The round was great, pace of play was good as I was the second one out. The course right now is cart path only. I walk the course so it was not an issue.
Absolutely horrible.....
I am so disappointed what has happened to brentwood,with this being the last golf course left and it is in dispair to say the least.On a positive note greens were ok,that being said that is all there is.Fairways are ridiculous,you would find a better lie in a cow pasture and more grass.No sand in bunkers at all so we just played them as under repair( when really the whole course is)It was cart path only even though there was no grass to kill,and when we started there were 6 groups waiting at the first tee box to tee off and it never got better.People were actually getting frustrated trying to drive past to another holethinking one was actually open and of course at 2:20 there were no marshalls,they had went home.So this will be the last time we travel out to brentwood unless Roddy ranch reopens.

Awful conditions
Check back in spring , course is almost unplayable. Greens are in decent shape, but that is where it ends . They are trying to fix it, but it has a long way to go. Fairways and tee boxes terrible .

They just gave up...
The course was in terrible shape.
-Fairways were brown and full of weeds and leaves.
-Bunkers were just dirt holes
-Tee boxes were completely hacked up
-Cart path only.
-no holes on the practice putting green
- No concessions.

Never play here
We waited 40 minutes past our tee time just to get a cart, then only got 11 holes in, in 4.5 hours because they overbooked it so much. I’ll never go back.

Fairways not up to par
Fairways in bad shape. Need a lot of work to get it back to playable condition.

Last time we played here only 20% of the fairway was grass. Most of that 20% wasn’t even green. Won’t be going back unless we see some sort major overhaul. Sad. Could be great.

I vowed never to return and I should have listened to myself. Just stay away. Terrible conditions and a 5 hour round to boot.

I've played this course several times this year since it's often the only course in the area with decent tee times available, and I personally don't think a lot of the negative comments are warranted. For the price, my friends and I have all been perfectly happy playing here. The course layout is fun and interesting, fairways and greens have been in pretty good shape every time I've played it, and pace of play has been about average, even on busy Saturdays. I've seen the lack of carts delaying some players, which is certainly a very valid frustration, but I've personally never had an issue getting a cart for my tee time.
Is it my favorite course? No, but I've definitely enjoyed playing it for the price, and the often wide-open availability means I can get out last minute pretty much whenever I want. Overall, I think this course makes for a fun round at a good value.

Wind and Rain
Course is fun but the conditions of the ground are less than desirable. Looks like they are doing some work with replanting but the there are lots of problem spots right now.

Bad shape
I’ve never seen this course in this bad of shape. There are no fairways or bunkers. The greens were the only thing that were ok. I live less then two minutes away and I think I’m done with this course.

Very Little Fairway Grass
The fairways are dirt and weeds. There is not much green grass to hit off off. The bunkers have very little sand. This course is not worth the $47.
