About

DeBell Golf Club in Burbank offers an 18-hole Regulation Course and a nine-hole disc golf course. The Regulation Course has a tight layout with narrow fairways and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is the key to doing well on this golf course but it's not overly punishing. Its risk-reward holes will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The front nine is fairly challenging but the back nine is where the golf course gets tough. Although DeBell Golf Club is short, only 5,608 yards from the back tees, the blind shots and winding doglegs make it seem much longer than it is. There isn't any water on the golf course but you'll hardly miss its presence with all the other hazards that lurk throughout.

This course is a mofo!

This course is a freaking challenge! Beautiful but every hole is a up hill or down hill dog leg left or right. I lost lots of balls but lucky for me the 3 old guys I got paired up with kept finding balls and giving them to me. Course was well kept. The green were fast and had lots of slopes so had to compensate and calculate. I played a horrible game but for 25 bucks with the cart I wasn't too mad. I won't let this course scare me away so ill be back. The gentlemen I was paired up with were real cool cats too.

Tough layout

The course was in decent shape, a bit wet but that’s from the rains. The driving range is a bit of a letdown though.

Rainy day and slow play

I had heard very good things about the course prior to playing so my hopes were high.

I found the pace of play to be unbearable. We ended up getting hit with rain on whole 13 and trudged it out until hole 16. By then we were 4 1/2 hours into our round. It was painfully slow. Once the hail started I drove in for the day.

The course itself has a ton of character with tricky holes and target shooting. A GPS device is mandatory to survive this course plus having someone with course knowledge.

The greens are tiny and challenging
