DeBell Golf Club in Burbank offers an 18-hole Regulation Course and a nine-hole disc golf course. The Regulation Course has a tight layout with narrow fairways and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is the key to doing well on this golf course but it's not overly punishing. Its risk-reward holes will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The front nine is fairly challenging but the back nine is where the golf course gets tough. Although DeBell Golf Club is short, only 5,608 yards from the back tees, the blind shots and winding doglegs make it seem much longer than it is. There isn't any water on the golf course but you'll hardly miss its presence with all the other hazards that lurk throughout.

Decent Track

First time playing. Decent track. Not gimicky, but right on the edge. A lot of 6-iron drives to center fairway or if you're low-handicapper, you could shape a 3-wood. Rarely any driver holes. That said, clubhouse and conditions were solid. Bunkers solid. Pace of play a little slow, but nothing crazy. Overall 8.3/10

Pace of play was better than expected, 1:40 tee time on a Sunday and finished right around 6. Tee boxes were a little rough but outside of that the course was in good shape. Lots of twists and turns, if smashing driver is your game you might have a tough outing.

Short but Challenging

Don’t let the 5000-6000yd fool you. You have to hit fairways or will be punished. Tall trees, lots of undulations and elevation changes. Many blind shots too. Fun and challenging. They do have on going construction going on #2 where it’s played as a 150yd par 3. Most par 4’s are 250-300yd but 3 of the par 3’a are 200yd+.
