Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

EXTREMELY SLOW PLAY
Never had a slower round of golf. No Marshall. Groups of Two, one after the other. Novice players playing the blue tees. We waited 3-5 minutes at every tee box. Unacceptable. Course itself could be fun and a great way to practice your short game, but pace of play made it excruciating. Greens are very slow. Very unfortunate, I will not return.

Another great day another great time!. Course is in beautiful shape. Staff are really really friendly. Did 18 holes in under two hours.

The course was a fun golf day, everyone we met was very friendly from folks golfing to all the staff we encountered. My only complaint was the greens were slow and the rough a little patchy.
Good value as Hot Deal
Good value if purchased as a hot deal but otherwise expensive.
Very slow pace of play. Took almost 4 hours for 18 holes.
Players ahead of us certainly do not play ready golf.
Fun Course
The course was really fun. Greens and fairways were maintained greatly and the staff was hospitable and friendly. I will play this course every time I return to Cathedral city.
