Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

Fun
Everything Judy and staff do always makes the golf experience enjoyable and fun.
Bad aditude
Starter had a bad aditude. She was upset because I reserved a deal online with the Golf Now App. I'll be back because I really like this course but if I keep getting an aditude cause I choose to get deals online I won't be back and will not recommend this course for anything. I'm a local so I golf out here in the summer as well. And I always have a foursome. Don't forget the locals keep you going when everyone is gone.
Good warm up
My gal hasn’t played long so a perfect course for the moment, price with cart was hard to believe
Really a 5some
Pace of play was slow. Marshall told us the group ahead of us tee’d off together as a 5 some vs separate 3some and separate 2 some. I ask if they’d let us play through and was told they wouldn’t waive us through. So we had a nice leisurely day with plenty of time between holes. We had a good round despite the slow play.
Fabulous Executive Course
Wonderfully kept and friendly staff - perfect for sharpening approach shots and chipping. Loved it!!!
Struggled to Control Ball Flight
Challenging day on the golf course struggling with controlling ball flight on tight narrow fairways. If there was a tree, I found it and got a bad bounce. Rough hide golf balls. No fault of the course of course. I'll give it a go soon.
Hot Diggity Dog What A Great Day
Oh boy, what a day. Hitting straing.and if only we could improc=ve putting. Better next time. These greens are slow and the ball doen't break like you'd think. This will screw me up when I play a players course. But overal a fun round.
They Rushed Right Passed US
We were at the 1st tee box getting ready to tee off and two elderly golfer drove pass us to the forward tees and teed off ahead of us! We were flabbergasted but what the heck we weren’t going to let that bother us. Four shirts later on a par 3 they were on the green. Looked like it was goin to be a long day. Three holes later they waived us through. Turned out ok after all.
Perfect
Got an early tee time and played a fanastic round in ideal conditions. Rough hid our balls but mostly recovered without too much delay. Greens are nice but very slow which takes away much of the break. But this is a nice course for a short round which leaves most of th day open to other endeavors. We'll do it again soon.
Fairways Fun
Was good day for a round of golf. Nice little course. Some challenges and tight fairways. Over all a fair course.
