Date Palm Country Club
About
Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

My tee shot on the second hole. It was nice to get a birdie early. Photo submitted by Napawillie on 03/30/2015
The course was in great shape. The only thing is, it is too bad they can't get rid of the ducks and geese.
It was a fun course to play. We were teamed up with two very nice men from Canada. We are also from Canada. The course is in very nice shape.
Great
Good for short game. Course was well manicured. Greens were great. I would go again
nice executive course
The fairways traps and water hazards are maintained. The greens are very slow. A large number of mature trees provide a challenge on a number of the holes. The pace of play was excellent finished in 3 hours and played as a 4-some. The starter was polite. A good value for the money.
Fun executive course. Great for wife & I to play inexpensively for not too serious golfer.
Not bad for what it is. Fun little executive course, not demanding or penal. Fairly well maintained although not on par with some of the more expensive executives courses. Will play again with discounted green fee, but won't pay full fare.
Good greens.
It is a good test for old people. Would not recommend this course for anyone under 70 years old. Bartender was very friendly and made a good drink. Cheers to him.
A very good course for our skill level.
A friendly and well maintained course. We found that it was challenging enough for our skill level and we could complete the course in 2.5 hours. Prices included cart.
Great executive course.
My wife and I come here often and with the peak season prices rising, Golfnow provided great rates. Fairways and green are always well maintained. We are new to golf and are high handicappers. This executive course is great for us.
Great fun course
This is one of my favorite courses. An executive course that is well maintained with a friendly staff and memebership. Great value for the money
short course
Very nice course, Not what we expected for $45.00 per player. 14 par three holes. Did not know it was such a short course till after we paid, not worth the money
Well groomed - tight course.
Course is well groomed and greens are good. Course is tight so accuracy is important. Manager was excellent as a tournament created a problem with my Golf Now booking and he resolved the issue quickly and fairly.
Fast, Fun, friendly. And the food is some of the best
The place is a hidden gem! Not all fancy Palm Springs frills, but just perfect! The food is to die for. Try the Burger. Its top shelf! Golf is fun and great for starting or finishing a trip to Palm Springs
Small little track
Not something someone with a low handicap should play. I did it as a warm up just to hit irons off tees and practice. But, the course was not in good shape and its was summer. Don't know how it is during the rest of the year. But, not for me and I wouldn't go back.
Fun
Classic old school Palm Springs club. My wife is a beginner so it was perfect for her, and I enjoyed myself as well. Greens were very slow, but the course was in good shape and good value for $20.
