La Vista/El Cielo at Desert Princess Country Club

I know it’s in the middle of summer, but holy crap! Greens were OK though tee, areas and fairways were in the worst shape I have ever seen, it’s really sad to see, but I know this place has great potential. Hopefully it will be better next time playing.

As is typical during the summer, the course is not immaculate, as it is during cooler months, but still very playable. Good lies are sometimes hard to come by. Staff is great. Food and drinks are great. Turkey Wrap is delicious. Look forward to playing here again.

While the course conditions are spotty in several locations due to typical summer weather, the greens and most fairways were in great shape.

The staff is exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful.

Fairways on both course poor condition, many bare and sandy areas. The greens are in excellent condition and the staff is great.

Nice course with terrific staff but the greens, tee boxes and greens are baked extra crispy

Played 18 holes in a little over three hours. Wide fairways but plenty of water and bunkers to find. Signage needs improvement from Lagos #1 green to #2 tee box. Had no idea where to go. Summer rates were available. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in great shape.

There was a tournament taking up 2 of the 3 9 hole

Courses. We were not notified until we checked in that we would have to play the same 9 twice. Then it was the most backed up mess I’ve ever played in. By the end of the 2nd hole, there was a 4some on the tee box, a 4 some waiting, then our group waiting and the group behind us waiting. And there was no shade the last 6 holes which in 105 degree heat moving that slow was unbearable. It’s was so grossly mismanaged that we didn’t even circle around the play the 9 holes again and not even worth going back to ask for your money back or for a rain check of some kind because we were leaving the next day. Wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone.

Met staff in parking lot, starter was very kind and explained everything we needed to know. Course was in great shape. Pace of play was good.

Only issue I had was I booked a 245 T Time and when I got to the course I was told carts needed to be back by 530. Had I known that I would not of played. Since it doesn't get dark till 750 carts should be allowed past 530 or the T time should not say cart include.

Fairways, greens and tee boxes all in excellent shape. We teed off at 2:07 and finished at 5:40 so pace was great as well. We will definitely come back again.

This was our first time here and we were absolutely blown away on how pristine and beautiful this place is! I wish we would have played here sooner because every aspect of the course is in excellent condition... from the tee boxes to the cup.... AMAZING!! They have three 9 hole courses and all three looked like a PGA ready or close to it! ! We played Lagos on the front 9 and Vista on the back. It can get a little confusing as some holes have distance between them and lack of signage was an issue especially for a first timer but it was addressed at the pro shop during check in and once you get to each and every hole... WOW!!! The views were stunning and the conditions were so good you forget about the lack of signage! LOL!! I highly recommend this course if you are a golfer that loves excellent course condition, friendly staff and beautiful layouts!! This is one of my top 5 courses so far in the PS area!!
