Pace of play
Enjoy course, staff and environment. Pace of play was very slow and backups ongoing
Great value, bad pace.
Can't beat the course for the money, but be prepared to wait. Pace of play is tough at best.
Decent price, decent track, watch for incoming balls.
Both tracks are always in good shape and price is typically under $40 depending on time of day. Pace of play can be great if you tee off super early, otherwise expect a 5 hour round. Watch yourself as the layout is very forgiving which is great but also people hitting their shots in to your fairway or even when your on the green as just the other day I was waiting to putt and a tee shot from another hole rolls right past my feet.
Most courses weekend twilights are reasonable but not this course
Twilight on Saturday even first tee time you can forget about finishing 18, course is overbooked
Good value, bad pace
This place is great; 2 good courses at a great price. Unfortunately the secret is out and this course is over booked. Groups of 5 that can barely get off the tee slowing pace is a bummer. That being said, it’s hard to find a course in this good of condition that is this affordable in Orange County. Also 2 good size putting greens and a chipping area and driving range; all in all a great practice facility.
Morning is great!
I’ve always enjoyed playing on both courses at Costa Mesa. My only complaint is the 5 hour + rounds. BUT, if you are lucky enough to get an early morning tee time you will enjoy the course and the round of golf. We teed off at 6:59am and finished in 4 hours exactly. Enjoyed the course and only had to wait a short time at a few holes.

Pace of Play
Booking was terrible. 3 hours to play the front 9. 3 groups backed up at almost every hole to hole 14. Then it finally opened up. 7 hours to play 18 holes is unreal
Extremely slow
Took us 3 hrs for the front nine. Granted twilight prices are pretty good and the course actually plays well. Just be ready to wait a bunch.
