Pace of play is TERRIBLE.
Don’t get me wrong, the check in staff @ starter are really great people. But the pace of play is terrible. 3 hour front 9 and ended up a 5.5 hour round. They really need to fix this as they are known for their SLOW rounds. This was the first time I played here in about 2 years thinking the pace of play would improve but I was wrong. Never coming back

Double Booking
This course is known for double booking and loading the course up to over capacity, with a Marshal doing the starting at hole 1, it didn’t take long for the group behind us to hit into us on hole 1, hole 2 we were on the green and the group behind us shot on the green, hole 3,4 okay hole 5 they shot over our head, we were held up by the groups in front of us, no place to go, but Costa Mesa got there money and more, they put groups out 3-5 minutes apart and then there is no marshal out there to control the course, it’s horrible, I forgot about the double booking, it will be a while before we go back

When the greens are good these 2 courses are just so much fun to play. I hope you will be able to come back in June to enjoy the best value in orange county

Didn’t notice the green punched when I booked the tee time.
April fools day four sum played it was a strong wind and the temperature was down.
The weather to play golf was not good .
Thought that it would be needed at least two more weeks to recover the normal green conditions. That’s why
we were able to finish 18 holes in 4 and half hours not more than 5 hours.
