Cool day
Played 18 holes. Today was first time in a while pace of play was good ( 4 hrs).. past has been extremely slow.. one of my favorite courses to play when weather is hot

Great Value and good condition
I love playing at Costa Mesa. The course is always in good shape and Mesa Linda plays at a good pace most days. Short par 70 but still has some challenging spots. Always say “best golf for the price in OC”.

Broken Tee Time System
It is very hard to make a tee time. Not just because there is high demand but because the system is broken. You pick a time, input your credit info ( each time because it doesn’t store it like other courses), hit book it and it comes back that time is not available and choose between these other two times. You go all the way through the process again with the same result. I have gone through 15 times with no success. Other courses are not this difficult.

Los Lagos Costa Mesa
Big wide fairways. The staff is doing their best to keep up the course conditions. I just wish the players would give it more respect as to where and how they drive golf carts. Sometimes can be a bit slow and the marshals are not much help. But it’s a good test of golf.

Fun course, good price
Beautiful play and friendly players. Well designed albeit slightly short. Greens in good condition. bunkers in good condition. Fairways did have fairly large bare areas. Able to play all the clubs in the bag. Price was appropriate for the conditions of the course. This is a course that lots of people walk with bag carts.

Another Fine Round at Mesa Linda
Had an early tee time (6:50am). Played in under 4 hours. Greens and good, though somewhat slow.. Fairways, better than most in August around here.

Excellent value for the money. The course is well maintained. Pro shop staffs are professional and helpful. I play Costa Mesa at least one time a week. Love it.

So Slow
I’ve played this course over 50 times. Each and every time my round takes a very long time, this round being over 5 hrs. Course is in pretty good shape but pace of play is so slow that it doesn’t seem to matter. Never hit a shot all day without waiting for the group ahead of me to finish. Some holes had backups of 2-3 groups. Most likely won’t be coming back til they stop overbooking.

Mesa Linda
The greens here are very tough. They are small targets and often times unreadable. Finished in 4 1/2 hours which was nice. Could have been faster if the marshal was doing his job other than just driving around

Great course, great price
My foursome played Sunday, August 21. The weather was overcast and cool that day. The course was in great condition. The fairways were well kept and the greens weren't too soft considering the moist conditions. I would highly recommend playing Mesa Linda, especially for the price. We rode, but it is a manageable walk. The course is mostly flat and not too long.

Great greens. SLOWEST COURSE IN OC
Not sure how a place with 2 courses plays so slow... But dan when you pull to 3, 4, 7 and 17, how the HEc is there 3 OTHER groups in the box. Have a marshal at 3 to make people tee off who thinks they are gonna bomb the ball 300 and hit anyone... Then shank it to the 2 fairway. Costa Mesa was always slow. But dan it's gotten worse
