Nice Course
This is a nice course. Tree lined fairways, good greens, and interesting layout. When you play a 9 hole course, expect to wait.
Not a fair Golf Course
The main problem with the course are t-boxes and the greens. The T-boxes are uneven and hard, not much grass and some are hard as rock. Another problem is that the greens, while mostly in good condition are not mated to clientele that play there. In other words, course is not fair to type of player that goes there. Almost all people playing course are very high handicappers to say the least but the greens are setup for low handicappers . They are small and sloped deviously. Hole 9 is a joke. Par 3 190 yard, small green, 2 sand traps and sloped steeply with a ditch encircling it. Come on management, how can you do this type of greens when clientele are all high handicappers. Give me a break!
Nice short course
This is my time tee off. The course condition is good. It is very good to exercise the short game.
Good value
Fun course for the price. Well maintained and friendly staff. Have been going to this course for years.
Great value
Great course for a quick practice round or tune up. The price is right and the staff is friendly. Overall, a good place to play a quick nine and practice your short game
Perfect practice spot
My buddy and I wanted to sneak away and play 9 real quick and had about a two hour window. It worked out perfect. We were done in a 1 1/2 hr. And had a good time. I liked the 9 hole better than others I've played because it had a couple of par 4's so you could let it rip. Over all nice place to get out and play some golf If you are pressed for time.
Short, but challenging
Fun course for beginners and intermediate players. What it lacks in distance, they make up for with pin location, narrow fairways, and strategically placed bunkers.
A couple of the greens were a bit chewed up around the edges; gopher holes, irreparable divots, draining issues. But overall, course was well-tended.
We didn't stop by the restaurant, so I have no comment regarding their quality of food or beverages.
Short game course
Blackberry Farm is a nice little 9 hole course where you can work on your short game. The conditions are good and the pace of play is excellent. You have to hit the ball straight to stay out of trouble and there are some tricky side hill type holes to test your skills.
Great 9 holes
Course is narrow than most - grounds are very kept up -- staff is extremely friendly.
Quiet and challenging 9 holes
This is a quiet golf course in Cupertino, no much noise from traffic. It is a short 9 holes, you may need your driver just once, depending on your distance. It is challenging because of its narrow fairways and some steep greens.
Great course to work on your short game
Good news - hole #9 is now fully open and I believe
it is the longest par 3 on B-Berry farm. Most of the work along Stevens Creek is now complete so no more temporary holes.
Great day in Cupertino
Weather hard to beat - golf game not quite as good. Can hardly wait for the surrounding improvements to be completed.
Lunch time play
Great 9 holes course with several of the greens being a little tricky due to being domed. We always enjoy playing this course even though the water hazard is dry.
A good practice course
The course has been under renovation for the pass few months. It should be done soon. I like how they are beautifying The last two or three holes. Some the greens of the other holes still have lines of uneven ground. The facilities was basic and the fairways are short but the course still make a good practice course for beginners. Advanced folders will find this course uninteresting.
This is a friendly course for the beginning golfer. Go there and enjoin
Go there and enjoy! The staff is friendly, the facilities nice and the greens well groomed.
Course in Good shape
Grass and greens are in good condition despite the ongoing drought. This is a very short, up and back 9 hole course. We played on a holiday and it was a bit backed up however, a local told me you can have the course to yourself on weekdays. Fun, quiet place to work on your short game. Good deals to be had at GN.
bang for the buck
Small but friendly place hidden by the hills of Cupertino. The last hole has been temporarily shortened and is still under remodeling, but they are making fast progress. Another bonus, the water hazard is dry so you won't lose so many balls :-)
watch out for #6
Blackberry Farm is a good 9 hole course that you will need to play very well to leave with a Par score. It has trees along most holes that make you split the fairway, and there are a couple of 270+ holes, 3 of 170+ along with the shorter par 3's. Hole 6 is a short uphill shot to the toughest green on the course. Stay below the hole for the best chance to putt out. The drawbacks here are the Tee boxes - pretty beat up, and sometimes the course gets backed up. It's a great choice for the days you can't play a full 18.
Under creek renovation
The city is renovating the creek so the course has several detours leaving it in less than desirable condition for the same cost we've paid in the past. There was no indication of this until we showed up to check in. Will not go back until it's done.
Friendly and Fun!
Blackberry is a friendly place with a laid back atmosphere. It's a good value and pretty easy course.
