Nine hole course, flat, plenty of trees
This was a great place to take a beginning teenager. Easy enough to allow him to reach the green eventually, it was later on a weekday so we didn't slow anyone down.
No water this time of year but plenty of sand.
Friendly staff.
Very nice way to spend a morning or afternoon
I really enjoyed playing this course, I got to work my irons a lot, Beautiful tree lined fairways, also the greens were challenging. Not to long of a course , just a nice way to spend your morning or afternoon
Short executive 9 holes with narrow fairways on 2 holes
Pretty good to check and practice your iron shots. Trees can make your play a bit difficult, but overall for the money it is a good course for iron shots and for a few hybrid shots
Nice green and fairway..
It is excellent 9 hole golf course. good for seniors or beginners to practice golf swing, especially the iron!!
Local, convenient, 9 holes in 1.25 hours
Nice course to "tune up" my different swings.
Challenging par 3's.

Great value and enjoyable experience
Pro's: Friendly staff, well maintained greens, quiet play, a good balance of both long and short holes
Con's: Tie boxes and fairways are worn due to winter months
Overall: a great value and fun to play
No bad
Tee boxes were sand boxes but greens were perfect. Pin placement was set next to steep drops which made the course go from easy to somewhat challenging. Lefty bad shots equal lost balls. No driving range but the $1 warm up area was nice. Practice chipping and greens were free. Course is on Stevens creek. Golfnow GPS had me waaay off. Staff very pleasant.
Watch out for the fast greens!
All the greens are small and "Domed", (slope away from the pin), with small rises to all edges of the green. A reasonable 4 foot putt could easily run four to five feet OFF the green!
Great for beginning golfers ...
This is an ideal course for beginning golfers and even those more experienced players looking to to improve their short game skills. A fairly straightforward layout offering some interesting challenges (trap guarded greens etc) on a few holes. Given the volume of inexperienced golfers that flock to this place the course is in reasonable shape and the greens are generally well kept. I could see that things could get backed up in some situations so pick your time to play. For $20 my 9 yr old son (new golfer) and I enjoyed a great afternoon of golf - he was thrilled to play and improve his skills and was able to shoot a 43. Courses like this enable new golfers to build their skills and confidence without being intimidated by the a more traditional 18 hole layout.
Great location and really pretty for the amount of money paid.
This is a well kept nine hole course that has a couple holes where you can take out your driver. The surrounding is very pretty and serene. You get the sense that you are off in the wilderness although it is right of Stevens Creek Blvd.
Short and sweet
This is my go-to course for a quickie. Tee boxes are a bit uneven, but the rest of the course is just as expected for a short Par-3 course, with a couple Par-4s.
Overall very nice short course for the money
Well maintained course and very nice staff. The course looks easier than playing. Due to the narrow fairways, it requires good accuracy of your shots.
Nice 9 hole course
This is an enjoyable short 9 hole course. The course is fairly well maintained and although short, has some interesting challenges.
Great short course with some degree of difficulty, well taken care of and enjoyable.
I really enjoyed playing Blackberry Farm's course, The grounds were well cared for and the greens were somewhat fast and true.
Some challenging situations here and there but fairly straight forward.
The staff was pleasant and attentive and the day I was there the pace of play was quite nice (No one pushing and not waiting on anyone).
I found it a nice change from some of the bigger, more expensive courses I've played lately.
The price was right , I will be back and would suggest this course to friends.
Good course for beginners
Blackberry one of best Bay Area executive courses, a little longer than Sunken Gardens, almost as challenging as Emerald Hills. Two holes you can use driver, 1544 total yardage. Tree lined fairways reward accuracy. Usually not too crowded, good pace of play.
Cute course, great for short game practice
For the Golf Now Deal, this course is a steal. It's not the most beautifully maintained course of all time, but someone clearly cares about this course and there was a bit of a revamp/clean-up going on while we were playing. The mostly par-3's and occasional par-4's are pretty straightforward, with a few random trees and a creek that hugs the last few holes. This is a nice little course I'd recommend for some short game practice.
Great Price
I got a round of golf here for $5. For that price I honestly could not have any complaints.
I don't know if I would pay the full/regular green fee of $15, but I still had a good time.
This course is the perfect place to practice your short game
I took my 11-yr old to play a practice round before our weekend trournament. We got a great value on-line, and found the course in very good shape. I chose this course for practice because it has a few "short" par 3's that my son could reach and a few "challenging" holes for me. The course was not crowded (mid-day Fri) and we both enjoyed it tremendously.
Compact nine-hole course
Compact nine-hole course right off of Stevens Creek makes this course an efficient spot to practice at for the novice like me. I arrived a little early and warmed up on the partially shaded practice green. The pretty tree lined fairways required me to aim straight. There was enough variations from hole to hole that required me to use all the different swings. The corresponding greens were challenging as well as one was shaped like a crown and the effort I placed on the practice green paid off. Happy playing!
